LB POST HOLES AND FENCING

Highly, highly, highly recommend LB Post Holes. Our fence came down in the recent windstorm and had to be replaced. Steve and his crew worked quickly and efficiently and were extremely accommodating to our schedule and requested timelines. We opted for the 6x6 posts and these things are SOLID. I'm sure that our fence is going to last much longer than our last one thanks to these guys!

LB is a fantastic company hands down.Steve is very professional and the service his crew and him provide is amazing.I do not know much about fencing and with Steves suggestions and guidence we couldn't be happier with the outcome of this project.I also admire that Steve isn't afraid to speak up when a customer has suggestions even though they have no experience in this field. Due to Steves extensive experience he expained to me why some of my ideas could not or would not work and he was able to show me a different and more cost effective way of getting my perfect fence.Steve also does not hide any issues or problems. He kept me informed on an on going basis. He is honest and 100% trustworthy.I've worked for as well as hired shady contractors who will cut corners just to get the job done.NOT STEVE!My experience was extremly positive.After the quote Steve arranged for the appropriate locates he pulled the permits and my 250ft of fence and two beautiful gates were completed in a few short days and my property was cleaned up nicely.These guys work very hard they love what they do and it shows in their finished product.I'd recommend LB" to anyone and everyone.Thank you!"

In June of this year, 2018, we contracted LB Post Hole and Fencing to build us a replacement fence. I knew the design of fence I wanted, and Steve was exceptional at asking questions throughout the process to verify and ensure the finished product was exactly as I wanted. He also offered suggestions and was willing to listen to my thoughts as well. Steve and Mark worked very hard despite the very warm weather to ensure they were done on time. Both were professional and personable with a few laughs thrown in. I would highly recommend these guys!!The fence looks incredible and will stand the test of time. I am very, very pleased with the finish product.AWESOME job guys!!

They were hired to dig/set fourteen 6x6 posts for a retaining wall and a fence. Told the owner I wanted 40- 48" deep post holes

My experience may be the exception, but how Steve handled the issue was totally unprofessional.The work was for drilling and setting 4 6x6 posts. Admittedly, this is a small job and was to be charged their minimum fee of $350 plus HST.I accepted the quote and received a very professional email explaining their process and the terms of their work. One of the terms was:“Locates must be obtained from Ontario One Call before drilling can begin, this is to see if there are any underground infrastructures where we will be working. Locates are called in by our company for liability purposes.”Originally, I was entertaining the idea of doing the work myself, so I ordered a locate from Ontario One Call myself.When I decided to use Steve’s company, I sent them the photo of where on my property the posts were to be placed for them to use for their locate request.I was relieved knowing that they would take care of everything and I waited for the install date.When the day came, he advised he would be over in the afternoon and told me to have the locates printed off.What?? They were supposed to order them.Turns out that the unilaterally decided to use my locate instead of ordering their own and didn’t tell me.When I tried to suggest that maybe the should have told me that they changed their plan, and were relying on me to order the locate, Steve got upset at me.I followed up on my locate and found out that due to an error on my locate form, my request was cancelled without notifying me.When I told Steve this, Steve asked me to see if I could get a new locate expedited with Ontario One call.Unfortunately, this wasn’t possible. Steve asked me to send my address to him so he would order the locate that night. I did that, and waited a week for the locate to be completed and my job to be rescheduled.No locate was done, and I followed up with Steve via email last Friday, a voicemail to the office on Monday. When I didn’t hear from them I texted him on Tuesday morning and his response was he would contact me that night with the date.Nothing on Tuesday night.I followed up this morning by text. Nothing received.I guess he is ghosting me.I have given him every opportunity to make things right. He hasn’t. As a result. I can’t recommend his company.If everything goes right, you may get a good job. But my experience with him is he has no customer service skills and has no desire to make things right.Buyer beware.

I have nothing but great things to say about LB Post Holes and Fencing!Steve and his crew exceeded all my expectations. They were very professional during the day of digging and answered all/any of my questions, not to mention they did a great job on my fence posts and new fence!I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company if you need post holes dug or a new fence built.

Had Steve and his crew redo a fence for me. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Steve help me plan the new fence and saved me money in the process. Showed up on time and left the job site clean. Even stopped by to make sure I was happy with the job.

The BEST contractor I have ever worked with. I cannot say enough good things about these guys. They do everything a contractor should do. They are on time, follow up before hand, provide guidance on design and offer a great price. Steve and his crew were great! They did my fencing and built a solid walk out deck for my home. I wish a I knew but they also do landscaping to! If you have fencing, decking or landscaping projects call Steve and it will be done professionally and done right. A VERY satisfied customer. HIGHLY recommended.
