Enterprise Rent-A-Car

I called them to resend my receipt since I didn't get my receipt in my email after returning the rental car. Someone in the store picked up the phone and I told her my inquires. Then she put me on hold for 30 minutes and never get back to me. I redialed the number again, they just hung up my call. Very disappointed. I don't know why it's so hard to resend the receipt to me,

I do not typically write bad google reviews because I am a firm believer that if you have nothing nice to say, then you should say nothing at all. However, I feel obligated to share my experience with Thornhill Enterprise so that hopefully others who read this review will think twice before considering renting from this company. The workers at this place are scammers I would never recommend Thornhill Enterprise to anyone.Full story:I required car rental because my own car was unfortunately rear ended in a motor vehicle accident a few weeks ago. Thornhill Enterprise was recommended by my auto repair shop and so I went with their suggestion. I wish I had read some of the bad google reviews about this place prior to taking their suggestion.When I went to pick up the car rental, the lady brought me to the parking lot packed with cars. Thinking back now I felt the car inspection process was rushed and the lady barely gave me a chance to see the car before asking me to open the car door to check the gas level so she can finish her paper work. Even though she was quick to finish the paper work, I did not get the actual car rental agreement/contract emailed to me until after I called 4 hours later to ask for it.I rented the car for a total of 4 days. I live in a condo building and so I park my car in my designated spot with the passenger side facing the wall. I work in uptown Toronto so I subway to work. The only times I drove the car were when I went to visit my parents, where I parked the car in a private driveway.The auto shop called me after 4 days to inform me that my own car has been repaired. I did my due diligence to ask both the auto shop and Enterprise beforehand where I should drop off the car. Both parties told me to drop off the car at the auto shop and leave the keys with the auto shop, so I can pick up my own car and leave.I dropped off the rental car 10AM that morning at the auto shop and left with my own car. No one from Enterprise was at the shop to take the car at that time but the gentleman from the auto shop said everything is okay and said they will take care of returning the car. I was waiting the whole morning for Enterprise to send me a confirmation that the car was returned or a receipt of some sort but nothing was sent. Again, trying to be responsible, I called Enterprise around 1-2PM to see if they picked up the car yet and the gentleman over the phone said they haven't picked up the car yet but will do so right now. He said he would call me after the pick up.I waited till 4:30PM that day until the gentleman from Enterprise called and said they inspected the car and they found a dent on the passenger side. They claimed that it was larger than their tolerance level and that I would need to pay for it. I told them the car was not damaged when I returned it. I asked for pictures but none of the pictures they provided showed the damage properly and the car was wet and so the quality of the images were terrible. The gentleman basically gave me no options but to take responsibility for it. I responded by saying that the car was not dented when I returned it to the shop at 10AM that morning and there was a 6 hour gap between when I returned the car and when they inspected and found a damage". I had my car's catalytic converter stolen and was able to pick up a rental here.Thane and team were very kind and professional. I was able to leave with a vehicle fairly quickly and it was easy to reach them and ask for an extension.Thank you for a positive customer experience.

Very bad experience! During my rental the handle came off when I tried to open the door and the company blames that because the car was in my possession they want make the claim. It is evident, that something was wrong with the handle before. Obviously they don't care about the truth and the customer. There was not even a slight attempt to try to support, understand, and solve the issue. Make sure you check every inch of the car before you rent because this place rents cars that have hidden issues! And they will charge you after something breaks!Awful!

I rent a car every week in the summer from Enterprise. This location is definitely one of the worst. Tried this location two time, very similar experience. Customer service guy is not polite at all, rude, doesn't explain things.The vehicle is not ready when I got there, has to wait for them to get it ready"

The whole experience from start to finish was great, they were super patient and explained how the process worked in great detail. Everyone ai spoke to was really nice and very accommodating. They went above and beyond for sure, great place to go for renting.

My time at this enterprise was nothing but positive! I’ve used a lot of rentals before and this was by far my best experience. Overall great staff & 10/10 customer service.The general manager, Thane, was amazing. Super friendly and incredible customer service.They also provide drop off service, to which Rasika, another employee was fantastic with. The staff I met here made the experience that much more enjoyable. This location really prides themselves on customer service and I was truly impressed.I highly recommend choosing this enterprise for your rental services.
