FIRST ONSITE Property Restoration

Not the greatest experience. My insurance facilitated First Onsite to install new floors. I was told I needed 13 bags of leveling, for over $100.00 a bag, so I did as suggested, or I would not be covered or insured". I think the pictures speak for themselves. Communication was very poor. Work was left incomplete

Called First On Site and was pleasantly surprised by the speed and professionalism of our adjuster Houston. I was calling on behalf of my 86 year old mother and explained she was not in good health and asked Houston if he could make the restoration process as painless as possible. Houston did that and more - he had the restoration complete in less than 3 weeks from start to finish. We were provided with a specific timeline as to when and how the repairs would progress and the contractors completing the job followed the timeline to a T. Couldn’t be happier with the service and support and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend First On Site to anyone. Thank you Houston!!!

For 5 days I waited for the project manager, Tim Hofer, assigned to my claim to contact me to come evaluate what needed to be done at my home subsequent to a sewer backup issue. I know that the representative at Wawanesa asked him at least twice and I believe 3 times to call me but he never did. The independent adjuster that Wawanesa sent called Mr. Hofer and Mr. Hofer decided he would come to the site the same day as the adjuster, without ever contacting me to let me know. No communication from Mr. Hofer until about 2 hours before the adjuster was to show up (and without my knowledge or agreement also Mr. Hofer) and Mr. Hofer said he couldn't make it because of an emergency. When I asked him to please in future not make arrangements to be at the house through a third party he was dismissive of my concerns and said, he wouldn't need to call a third party again".We arranged for Mr. Hofer to come to site for 1 pm the following day.At 1:10 pm the following day a different project manager called to say he was taking over the file and would like to make a time to come to the house. When I informed him that Mr. Hofer was supposed to be here at 1 pm (10 minutes ago) he knew nothing about this. To this new Project manager's credit he asked if I could wait about 30 minutes and he would come right over. Let's hope it goes smoother from here.For what it's worth

Everyone person that First On-site sent to our home, knew what they were doing. They were respectful and worked quickly during demolition and at the end of the day everything was cleaned up. Their pack out crew were fantastic as they packed, labelled and even took pictures of where everything was. Our restoration went through 3 floors. The only hic-cup for us was our Insurance provider. First Onsite brought in great trades that worked quickly and efficiently. At the end of each day the work area was cleaned up. The pack out and cleaning was so awesome. I had a small leak in my dishwasher and did not fully comprehend the extent of the water damage. First Onsite sent a rep within the hour of my call to my insurance company. The rep did some testing then walked me through the two phases...the emergency work and the repair phase. It was great to have a better understanding of the extent of the damage, what needed to be replaced and the process moving forward. When they picked up the drying equipment, I showed them the damage to my walls from the trades taking out the cabinets, countertop and dishwasher. I explained that there was also damage to the suite below from the jackhammering. They advised the would address all that results from the removal and replacement of my hardwood floors. First Onsite has been wonderful to deal with and they kept me informed throughout the process.The staff have been very professional and I am happy to recommend First Onsite.„

Emilio came to complete the demo of my water damaged shower surround. He arrived on time and did a great job protecting the floors.The demo was sealed off, completed, and packed out before the end of the day. Everything was left spotless and he made sure to show me the room before leaving to ask if I had any questions. Super happy with how quickly he did everything and he was super nice too.„

The emergency crews were first rate, responsive and compassionate. The project manager, Romano went above and beyond during the restoration and we were back in our house for Christmas.

First Onsite repaired our drywall and flooring that were damaged by a roof leak caused by snow that backed up over the water barrier.They did a slam-dunk job of identifying problem areas, doing all the necessary repairs, moving all my furniture and belongings aside and then returning them to where they were a darned sight more neatly and cleanly than I ever had it, their drywall and repainting work was perfect -- I can't tell where the old and new paint transition, the new flooring is perfect, too.All the work was done in a friendly, courteous, and above all, thoroughly professional manner with timely communication throughout.Would not at all hesitate to use First Onsite again.
