There used to wonder views to of the bridge. With the oversized death by suicide fencing; it takes away from the view and architectural of the bridge. Yes, preventing is important; it could been designed better (like on other bridges) and added to the architecture.

If you cycle in the while on tour, fly by this place. You get a great view. If you do want to stop to take picture however, make sure to pull your bike off the bike lane so others don't slam into you. Be kind and considerate.

Nice architectural masterpiece designed by Edmund W. Burke. The Prince Edward Viaduct is a three hinged concrete-steel arch bridge with a total span of 494 metres (1,620 feet), at 40 metres (131 feet) above the Don Valley. The bridge consists of a deck made of transverse beams and I-girders, which transfer load to column supports.

Our favorite place for a night drive after a day of dance lessons at Access Ballroom. We love it how the bridge lights up at night, with the gorgeous views of the Toronto skyline and Don Valley Parkway. We even got inspired and had to park nearby to dance some Bachata on the bridge. :)

Prince Edward Viaduct has so much history over the years and when I look up at it, walk under it I'm thinking of all the lives lost. Troubled souls that used this location to take there own lives. There is nothing attractive and or beautiful about any of it except for the Pink colored lights at night. Over the past 40 years I've lived here we use to know what happened and when. After so many lost they finally put up the barricades to prevent further tragedy. Still to this day walking under the Prince Edward Viaduct brings back so many memories of our past.

During my recent visit to this park, it became apparent that the city had neglected its maintenance. The overall condition of the park was quite poor. However, if the city were to address this issue and ensure there are clean benches available, it could become a great spot to sit and enjoy the evening.

This architectal masterpice is bridging the gap between the east and west parts of Toronto. It provides a spectacular view of greenery down below in the Don Valley as well as downtown highrises. At night, it enlightened with colorful changing led lights.
