Went into the shop to pick up some natural dog treats for my pup! As a previous fishkeeper I went through to the fish room for a look.. my partner and sister were admiring the parrots to be scowled at and accused of taking photos in an extremely rude manner. Going by her attitude today, poor customer service and replies to reviews this shop won't be there long.I can only imagine photos are not allowed so there's no evidence of how manky the tanks are...

The owner of the shop doesn't seem to want people to walk in and have a look around. You will be questioned as soon as you step in about your intentions. Be ready to know what to buy or you will be rejected.

Nothing good to say about my visit. The woman working is unapproachable and hostile. Immediately felt unwelcomed. Not sure if it was just about to be water change day but the tanks were fairly filthy and definitely over crowded. Going by her replies to any negative feedback I’m sure I’ll be un for a treat

**Shop is deaf friendly**(please ask permission before entering shop or to check if store is at max capacity)Fantastic store run by an extremely experienced and knowledgeable person who has saved our dog's life. Our dog was recently diagnosed with over 22 food allergies and no vet or shops in the highland were able to help us find/feed our dog 'safe' food. My husband popped into this shop and got talking to to the owner over their mutual love of dogs where my husband revealed the struggle our poor dog was going through. After a detailed conversation of what we had and hadn't tried, she was extremely quick to think on her feet and immediately gave us some food to try that was available right there. Usually other shops have to order in or they um and haw on forever not really knowing what to recommend us to try without it posing a serious risk to our dog's health.Well by the grace of god the food she gave us for our dog didn't cause him to be sick from either ends, shiver endlessly or itchy excessively. Finally we have found someone that was able to help our dog and by popping in to speak to her frequently, she always ask how our dog is and helps us monitor his progress as we work through a list of trialling new food that works for him. He is slowly but surely gaining back weight and is much healthier again, has energy and is back to his wee cuddly lovable self. We thank our lucky stars for meeting her, she has been absolutely instrumental saving our wee baby dog. We cannot thank her enough.I explained to the shop owner that I am deaf and struggle to communicate with a mask on because I need to lipread the other person, I showed her proof of my 2 vaccination (awaiting booster) and take a lateral flow test every 72 hours for my own safety and everyone around me. She was very understandable and we are able to communicate whilst socially distancing. She is an absolute diamond because she's great to chat with, saved our dog's life and was really understanding about my deafness whilst being mask exempt.Best people I've ever met in this shop and her range of excellent food products are second to none, they are also sourced locally too which speaks volumes about the quality of care she puts into the shop which extends toward her customers.

Such a lovely lady! She really cares about the welfare of the animals. She was really kind and knew her stuff. If you have done your research and looking for a new pet. Her shop is the place to go!Got some food for my hamster which he absolutely loves.Definitely recommend!

We went in to see the fishtanks but were very quickly dismissed at the door. We were told by the woman in a very aggressive and rude manner they were switched off when they were clearly not. An example on how not to run a business.
