Nice park but the port-a-potties need better care.... saturday of a long weekend and they are full. A park of the caliber should be able to provide a few flushable toilets and sinks to their campers other then the couple stalls at the shower house by the pool. Very disappointing for those tenting.

Last Mountain Lake Regional Park is lovely, clean, and reasonably quiet. The area that shows as unserviced is not a well treed tenting area. Site 119 has a little shelter belt for the tent, but the rest is wide open. Most sites are occupied by glampers and instead of the peaceful sounds of the great outdoors, we heard white noise of the air conditioning units. Many of the sites have solar lights or string lights, so there is no dark night either. The boat launch area is clean and easy to access. Washroom facility for showers is near the lake, in the campground is port o potty - also very clean and stocked with hand sanitizer. There is access to nonpotable water near the near the portopotty. If you are looking for a back to nature tenting experience, keep looking. If you are looking for a lovely paddle on the lake, the water was lovely and the boaters are a nice distance from Bird Island so you can kayak or canoe very safely. For families, there is a pool, a concession, and a lovely beach/swimming area.

The lake was so full of slimy rocks that it was dangerous. The water was very murky so i didn't go past my ankles. The beach was also full of rocks so we found some shade further back on the grass. The canteen was great with friendly service. The park was pretty though.

Paid $10 day-use fee just to go birding for an hour, as per 'Best Places to Bird in the Prairies'. Got 4 lifers there so I guess it was worth it. Also, the burgers at the concession were excellent. Campsites looked exposed and not awesome, but take this for what it's worth, we did not camp and are from BC where campsites are usually sheltered by trees :-)

If you like birding, it's nice. Saw lots of birds, many of which I'd never seen before, when it wasn't too windy. The park is a bit of a windswept wasteland. If you're booking, stay far away from the water, which is where they probably will put you, because they are completely exposed sites. Also note: there now is water at most sites but it's not drinkable; something they don't say anywhere on the SK regional parks site, so if you get there without water, you're paying $$ for jugs of water from the concession.

Horrible!! Drunk golfcart drivers at night. Loud music and people after quite time and you get charged for everything. Makes it look perfect on the website but it is everything but. Never go there

You wanna talk long! Yeah like 93km long! Great boating location for summer fun on the wakeboard or tube. Just be wary as it is a wide open lake so any wind can cause white caps. And due to it being more of a southern lake as summer goes along it can get quite green. Though it is also a fun lake for ice fishing in the winter time. Take the hockey sticks and skates and play a little shinny while you wait for the tip ups to trigger!
