I've gone to The Beltliner a handful of times over the years since they opened. I've also tended to always get the same dish: chicken and waffles. Once upon a time, it was a great meal. Three or four nice chicken thighs with waffle, gravy and maple syrup.However, this last time I went (beginning of May), it was like they took one thigh and cut it into four nuggets and then served that. The dish was way overpriced for what I got. I do believe it's actually the most expensive food item on the menu, or one of them anyway.The server we had was great and the restaurant itself is nice, but I find the value for money spent has definitely changed in a bad way.At $22 for four bite-size pieces of chicken and one waffle (also cut into four) was definitely too high and I left hungry.

Very nice ambience. Ordered omelette with no mushrooms but got served wrong order. Server was super nice to get it corrected quickly. Coffee was great too. Pancakes were super fluffy and perfect.

Had salmon Benedict eggs, good but there was too much avocado (and too little salmon) for my taste, it made the dish not really balanced. The place itself is nice.

The Beltliner is one of my favourite breakfast spots in town. Extremely well managed, kind staff and the best food. Great place for a business meeting. Highly recommend the breakfast burger. Order extra napkins. Can't wait to go back :)

Excellent Salmon Avocado Eggs Benny! Excellent service and beautiful location. After a nice brunch walked across the street to enjoy Memorial Park.

Nice brunch place in downtown. Had the grilled chicken sandwich and the avocado toast. Both were very good and would highly recommend. The service was fantastic and our waiter was very attentive and nice. They have a nice patio to sit outside during the spring/summer. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a good brunch.

Really great service, our server was really helpful and attentive. Food came out fast and was really good! The chicken and waffles didn’t have as much chicken as I expected, otherwise great experience. Also didn’t realize they have a coffee flight until after we already ordered our coffee so will definitely try that next time!

Good spot for a quick brunch or coffee, but nothing impressive . We tried the Egg Benedict with Smoked Salmon, which was okay. They did not have all the menue options available and it took us a while to order. The tables are very close to each other and it’s hard to have have a conversation with the rest of your party. Also, the staff were not very efficient and it was hard to get their attention.
