Veslo Family Restaurant
Veslo is a hidden gem. They are a family-owned restaurant with European food and large portions. The sausages and schnitzel were delicious. Beer selection was authentic. Definitely get a different vibe than most restaurants but the service is prompt.

This is a little hidden gem in Kitchener. The location might seem a little odd to some as it's in a residential area. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for authentic tasting schnitzel. The food is very tasty, the portion size is incredible. If you order the large be prepared to have leftovers! The potatoes are also delicious. They do have other good options in some salads, and the chicken fingers are very good. Service is always fast and hot! Give them a try!

A wonderful place for hearty home cooking, especially in cold weather. The food is a tad salty, but full of delicious distinct flavours. You call also hear them working away at each dish in the kitchen. The staff is also quick and friendly. Definitely worth coming back to.

Running away from a terrible university event, we decided to try this restaurant and it rescued our weekend from getting ruined!The Gypsy Schnitzel and the plum brandy tasted amazing. Lepina bread with Chevapi, the buttery sour cream, and the perfectly-fried fries were also a joy in every bite. We were excited to experience so many new, great flavors in one setting.Although the restaurant was popular and quite small, we arrived in a quiet time and were able to be seated quickly. They had a very nice patio with brand new benches and young pine-like trees. The service was quick and super friendly.We are convinced to be back many more times!

Sometimes Google reviews let me down. Came here for the first time based on the glorious reviews and left stunned thinking how on earth would a place this mediocre be rated well. Food appeared extremely quickly which is highly suspicious as that means it was simply heated up rather than prepared fresh. Looking at the dish though and that made sense. Bland, generic, out of a box/bag" type food that lacked any seasoning of flavor. It was all just PLAIN at best. A cheap breakfast from Sunset tastes better than this. Utter disbelief. Nothing tasted home made

I am not from Kitchener, but I always ensure we make a stop here if we are in town or passing through.They’re a small, family owned restaurant and the food is great. You cannot go wrong with anything that in on the menu.I spoke with one of the family members last time I was there, very nice people.

High quality, authentic food! We tried Mix plate #2 and the rolled schnitzel. Their secret cheese tastes great. I wish it was not secret!
