I dropped off a car seat bench and a sample for the pattern, to get slipcover for it. When I picked up the bench, I was disappointed. It wasn't a slipcover, it was a kind of dog seat cover on the backrest with straps. The cover doesn't even fit well. When I showed him, that the cover is even too short, he replied that is what you wanted and walked away. I didn't want to argue with him so I paid the bill ($650) and left with my poorly looking seat bench. It looks even worse in the car. Now I have to find a shop, that can fix and finish the seat covers, so the money isn't totally wasted and I don't have to explain at the car shows where the cover is from. UPDATE:They reached out to me on May the 10th, if I can bring the seat back, so they can fix the issue. Which I did on May the 27th. The next day I was able to pick it up again. This time they did a good job.

Tommy's repaired the base of my very unique, somewhat complicated, coffee table that had been a victim of a puppy's teething on the faux leather base. It was a long overdue job that looked difficult if not impossible, due to its unusual mechanisms and the need to match fabrics. Tommy's came through in spades!! They managed to bring my special coffee table back to its original splendour in short order. Thank you so much, Tommy's!!

If you ever need a convertible roof or any upholstery done, this is the place in town to go! The Owner Chris, takes great pride in his work and treats everything like it's his own. The quality of work that comes out of this place is very professional and high quality! If you are like me and don't know where to take your car because you don't trust anyone with your baby, trust me, this is where you want to go. Your car will come out better looking than the factory with these guys!

Doug Ken and the crew did a great job of replacing the soft top on my 2006 Miata. I was upgrading from the factory vinyl top to a Canvass top and it looks awesome. I have used Tommy's many times over the years and they never disappoint from products used to quotes that are accurate. Job done on time and the car cleaned and vacuumed for pick up.

I had a zipper slider snap right in half on my Jeeps soft top. i called Tommy's and asked if they had replacement sliders. They told me to bring it down and they'd have a look at it.The gentleman looking at it had gone to the back of the shop and came back with an old one he pulled off another Jeep from a previous job. He gave it to me for free and told me how to get it on. I struggled a bit but after 10min of fiddling around it worked. Huge props to Tommy's Upholstery. They'll be the first ones I recommend if I'm ever asked who to go to. Thanks guys

Tommy's replaced my car's headliner after the original one came off due to a combination of sunroof drainage issues and using my wagon's interior as a mountain bike carrier. They did an amazing job, and my 16-year old car now has a much newer feel to it. While they were replacing the liner, they let me know that one of my sunroof drains was kinked (and therefore not functional), and that fixing this would be a lot more difficult after the liner was in (the new liner would have to come out first). This matched up with the condensation issues I have noticed, though I thought the issues were due to the sunroof seal and not the drain lines. They quoted on the additional job, and I got them to do the drain work right away as well. There's much less condensation inside the car now after very rainy days (much less moisture ingress), and the craftsmanship of the headliner replacement is fantastic.I didn't get to shop around very much (very few places would do the work in the Vic area), so I can't say how the pricing of Tommy's services compares to other shops. The service wasn't cheap, but the quality certainly seems like it was worth the price.

Recommend! Update on 1993 Toyota Pickup restore project. Latest issue was rain water leaking into the cab. Tommy's stripped the interior and was able to isolate and fix a number of water leaks around glass, firewall, fender seams and door panels. In this case, they were able to clean up the carpet and replace just the underlay. This is not a quick fix but rather a methodical process of water testing" top down while isolating and sealing. The mold and mildew and musty smell is finally gone! Job well done
