Dr. Ort is amazing! She was kind, incredibly knowledgeable, and patient with our dogs. She empowers you to provide the best possible care to your pet by disseminating information clearly and concisely. Both of our dogs were relaxed throughout the home visit, which is not normally the case when they see a vet at the clinic. The East Kootenays is lucky to have such a fantastic vet!

Sarah provided exceptional veterinary care for our 8 year old English bulldog. She came to our home which was very convenient, and fixed some long standing issues that we haven’t been able to resolve despite visiting with several different vets in the city over the years. She showed a lot of compassion, took the time to explain everything so we could understand, and was also very thorough yet efficient. Would highly recommend her services.

We are absolutely thrilled about finally having a vet in Canal Flats. Dr. Ort is so lovely, kind, patient and brilliant. I can honestly say I have never experienced better medical care for my fuzzy babies anywhere. My dog was not feeling well, and the last thing she needed was to travel to town. Dr. Ort came right to our home, which helped relax us and our sick pup. Our whole family will sleep better knowing this service is available now. Dr Sarah Ort is amazing. She diagnosed my dog Kaito with hypothyroidism after I struggled for months trying to find a diagnosis. I spent hundreds of dollars and days of time at other clinics trying to find out what was wrong with him. Never going to anyone else.
