Lovely little lab on the corner! Doreen was the fastest Lab worker I've ever seen. In and out in under 5 minutes, most impressive!

Wait times can vary greatly. But you can book appointment on line. Never had a bad experience. My wife and I go there at least 8 times a year.

Booking is terrible. Not enough operators and some are rude.

I love this lab!! All the humans are absolutely amazing, caring, funny and super nice! I’ve been going here for over 8 years and actually look forward to getting my blood work done! That’s how amazing they are! I might also mention I’m terrified of needles. But everyone who works here makes you feel so special that you don’t even notice the fact their putting a needle in your arm.

Just went for prenatal blood work at the Rock City Nanaimo location and despite being very nervous with needles, Doreen made me feel super comfortable and it was a breeze. Thanks so much!

As someone who needs regular blood tests, this is the only place in town that I will go to. The entire staff is patient and understanding, but I have to give a special shoutout to Doreen. She noticed the design of my wallet, immediately started chatting with me about it and common interests related to it. By the time we were done talking, she had already carried out the tests and I didn't even notice! Now that's how you make sure clients are comfortable and receive the quickest and best care possible!

I am very happy with the service I received at this LifeLabs location.I came on time but I forgot my lab requisition form at home. The staff were very kind to me and reassured me that, although I missed my appointment, I could return at a later time. Because of traffic, it took me 40 minutes to go home and get back, but they saw me right away. The nurse that helped me was very friendly, kind, and considerate, and I felt safe and treated well.I strongly recommend this LifeLabs location for its high standard of service.

I was not impressed with this location at all. I went the first time to find out that it was appt only even though i was told by someone on the phone that I could walk in without informing me that one of the locations is by appt only. The woman at the location printed my form and told me to go somewhere else. She failed to tell me that once the form was printed, it's gone out of the system. So I made an appt for the following week and then went in a week later. I couldn't find my form and thought that it would be able to be printed again. I went in and was told nope because it was printed it's gone, and I have to come back after getting another requisition form from my Dr. I was so angry because the lack of information was disgusting. Luckily, I had it in my wallet, so I got it done. I was told I could get my results online but just found out I can't because they didn't give me a number that I needed and now I have to call again to find out what number that is. The lack of information given is awful and should change. I won't call because I don't have the patience to deal with them again. Hope nothing is wrong and needs to be dealt with because I can't access it at all.

**Update - 2019/ Oct - I interacted with a worker by the name of Maria, her manner was abrupt, demeaning and dismissive. This was out of the ordinary, usually the staff here have wonderful people skills.---------------♡' s too the staff at this location. I popped in before work on a Monday, they had me in and out in under 10 mins.
