Hi-Knoll Park

Great walking trails and variety of meadowside scenery as well.

Beautiful walk! Connects to Brydon Lagoon area through the meadow trail.

Your perfect family outing, lots of places to explore, pet friendly all throughout the park, regular runners and joggers, bicycles. Trails are narrow though, so no motorized vehicles are allowed.PARKING- everywhere. Depending if you're entering from the Surrey side or the Langley City side. No matter, you can easily walk your way through.

Great little urban forest! On one side, the trail winds through meadows and under power lines, but on the other it is all lovely quiet forest. Lots of birds singing and baby bunnies running around. In some areas, you don't even hear the traffic noise anymore, which is lovely.Only downside was the obvious homeless camp problem on the meadow side. We stopped to take a lunch break and soon noticed we were sitting in someone's living room" with fire pits and clothing and a couple of tents nearby. We even found a machete embedded in a nearby tree. I would caution that you only walk these trails with other people or large dogs!"

I spent many afternoons of my youth exploring this park. It's great, except for all the dog owners who feel the off leash rules don't apply to them. Also, the addition (west of the parking lot) is magical, I always wondered why that little bit of trail was there!

NOTE TO PARENTS and others: Stick to the trails. If you head off into the secluded bits, you may come across used prophylactics...or folks in the middle of using them. Otherwise the park is good. It's a nice little hike with 3 distinct geographic zones. There's a dry exposed area, forested area, and a nice grassy bit along the creek.

Nice area from the river and open fields with access to Brydon Lagoon to the tree shaded hill side trails leading to the cut this is a nice relaxing place

Fabulous network of trails and also a favourite spot for thieves. We've seen more than a few folks standing next to their shattered car windows. Do yourself a favour and park at Buckley Park or on nearby neighbourhood streets.
