I needed a sign made. I sent in the requested information with all the details. I was told they would come up with a design and contact me. After the initial confirmation email that they had received everything I heard nothing. I sent a follow up email a month later and still heard nothing back. They very well might make a good sign but the communication side needs work.

The worst customer service I have ever seen at all points of the transaction.Should have taken the hint when it took forever to get a reply to questions we had about the options. After a couple of months, finally able to get straight answers. Paid deposit and waited and waited. 2 months later sign finally done.When we saw the sign, the lacquer finishing was really poorly done and uneven, so asked them to come back to fix it. They said they had to take the top covering piece off, leaving lighted cabinet exposed on the wall with all the lights. It should have taken maybe a couple of days to refinish, we waited 7-8 WEEKS. We called them after 2 weeks, 4 weeks, 6 weeks and then got mad by 8th week. Calls and emails were not returned most of the time, had no idea when this piece would come back, couldn’t get a responsible person on the phone. We even got the designer involved if she can get answers. Finally after numerous calls they came back install the last piece.We were livid with the arrogance and poor customer service that we ignored their calls and emails about the balance to see if they liked it or got the message we were upset.Finally I speak to Chris after he called about the bill. I try to explain our dissatisfaction with his customer service and he denies everything saying it didn’t happen and arguing with me when I have emails to prove it. Didn’t want to listen to my complaints but justified the wait time and lack of return calls as we had only “paid a deposit”. RIDICULOUS! We’re a customer and it doesn’t take 8 weeks to re-lacquer a 38” round circle. Absolutely no remorse or even acknowledgement of the failures in even replying to inquiries. Ended up dropping the phone on him 3x as he was too busy talking without listening to his customer’s concerns, arguing about it saying they’ve been in business for years.While the work was not bad, CUSTOMER SERVICE is non-existent. I would deal with someone else or spell out explicit time lines and expectations of conduct. Keep your customers informed and answer their concerns. Don’t ignore their calls and emails. Googling their INDEED company ranking of 2.5* and comments from former employees coincides with my experience working with the Topmade & Chris. Be aware!

Chris was/ is amazing. he was able to make custom turntable dust covers for three off my tables. They look FANTASTIC. Makes my turntables look like a million bucks. Thanks Again Chris for knocking it out of the park.

Topmade built a custom sign box for a photo shoot we were doing recently. The sign we needed was a bit unusual in size, format and style, but the design the created worked perfectly, and was exactly what we needed: semi-portable, but free-standing. It was a short turnaround, but they pulled it out of the hat for us. Terrific construction, service and custom design work, guys!
