Tapestry is staffed by real music folk. No snobs and you get the help you need right away. They have a truly beautiful selection of high quality instruments at reasonable prices. If that’s not enough they do repairs, rentals and lessons. During my most recent visit, I needed a guitar part same day and guess who had it when L&M needed to ship in from the big smoke? Try Tapestry before the big chain stores -it won’t disappoint.

Knowledgable and friendly staff. My daughter was starting violin and the staff was kind enough to play several violins for her to hear the differences. Wonderful selection of instruments and an accessible and flexible violin rental program.

I was shopping for Cordoba classical guitars and couldn’t find any locally. I found Tapestry Music online who had a floor model on sale. I emailed them and had they were very helpful, and followed up by phone to answer my remaining questions. Ordered online and my guitar arrived a few days later safe and sound. Great shop, excellent staff, and a lovely classical guitar selection.

Went to pick up a ukulele for my son. I have no clue about instruments at all, so they were very helpful in getting something appropriate for skill level, age, and budget. Super friendly and helpful. I will be back for some accessories soon.

Tapestry went above and beyond for me. Was after a particular uke that wasn't in stock at me local store. They had one shipped in just for me to try then made all the accounting adjustments perfectly after purchasing it out of normal sequence. Staff at the Victoria, BC store are exceedingly friendly and helpful. Terrific job.Thanks

I was given a gift card as a present and was delighted to see Tapestry had a lovely selection of guitar pedals, including by Earthquaker Devices! The model I was looking for wasn’t in stock at the location I went to, but the staff coordinated with their other location to ensure it could be sent over. By the time I left, it was headed to Victoria, and I was contacted within a couple days telling me it had arrived. Absolutely wonderful interaction and service!

I did the right choice to come here this morning.I wanted to support my child new passion (thanks to the school teacher) and I come here to buy a ukulele, but I know nothing about strings.Not only the salesperson who helped us knew exactly which kind of instrument I needed, just looking at the Tab my daughter was learning, but they also gave me a quick lesson on how to tune it at home.They have been super nice and friendly, I left the shop feeling so great for the whole experience.I highly recommend it!
