Karoi-san is a great teacher. She takes time to explain things and always greets me with a smile on her face. If you want to have a good time while learning japanese I highly reccomend this place.

I really enjoy kaori's class. I feel like the entire group has come a long way since we first started and it's quite noticible how much we've learned so far. Also the enviroment kaori creates its just lovely and very comfortable to work with. I highly recommend this class.-andrea vinas

I took Japanese language lessons from Kaori for about 3 months. I am going to Tokyo and wanted to be able to speak some Japanese so that I would not be totally lost. I also wanted some general greetings and phrases so that I was polite. She customized my lessons so that I learned exactly what I wanted and needed. She makes the lessons interesting but using props and flash cards. I feel like I have enough Japanese now to not feel totally lost. She was also able to give me tips about Japan that I am sure will come in handy when I am in Tokyo.

Kaori offers an encouraging and nonjudgmental atmosphere at her lessons. She sends weekly emails to keep up to date with her students and truly cares about each persons educational growth.It's a great place to learn for beginners and so on!

Kaori Strong is a fantastic Japanese language teacher! Whether you're studying with her one-on-one or part of a larger class, her lessons are fun, engaging, thorough and appropriate for whatever level a student is at. Her unique teaching methods help student learn the language faster and gain more confidence in their conversational and grammatical capabilities. Kaori is by far one of the best Japanese teachers I've ever had and I highly recommend her to anyone wanting to learn Japanese.

I've been taking lessons from Kaori for almost 12 months now and I can safely say without a doubt in my mind that she is the BEST Japanese teacher I've ever learned from.Kaori is a passionate teacher who works with all kinds of skill levels. She's deeply invested in her student's education and is especially great with 1 on 1 intervention sessions. If you're interested in learning Japanese at some point in your life, I highly recommend signing up with Tanoshii Japanese School!

My daughter (age 13) loves Japanese language instruction with Kaori. We have no background with the language and after a year of instruction my daughter is enthusiastic about her progress and looks forward to her classes. Kaori's adoption of an online format for instruction since COVID is fully engaging, well executed, and as a parent I really appreciate having one less scramble to drive my kids to their extra-curriculars ;) Thank you Kaori for making possible this wonderful and authentic experience for my daughter .Sheila K.
