Terminix Canada Pest Control Halifax

I had a flea problem that I called Terminix to fix. Our initial spray was fine but the fleas did reoccur. However we had no issues with the initial service. The tech who sprayed my house for the second time (I can’t remember his name) sprayed incorrectly leaving puddles and residue all over my floor for upwards of 8 hours.We were told it would be dry long before this and my cat walked in some and had some mild poisoning symptoms that the emergency vet believed was likely caused by the spray as it’s extremely toxic to cats. We were also given absolutely no safety information regarding the product and were later told by a more expensive tech that the spray should have never been done on all surfaces like that. Anyway the cat ended up being fine thankfully and the resolution was to send me a cheque to cover the cost of the service.I deposited the cheque yesterday after a long time waiting for a resolution and it appeared to go into my account no problem. I wake up this morning with $66 in the negative and additional associated banking fees because the cheque was rejected on Terminix end. The bank is unable to help me because the issue was with the cheque itself and I now have to go through the whole horrific process again.I’d not recommend anyone go with this company for pest control. If you run into any issue with your service it’ll take months to resolve. Im currently still trying to get things resolved after months of back and forth and now am left in a grim financial situation with my account now having less than $0.Giving 2 stars even though this was mostly a 0 star experience because the more experienced tech, Richard, is helpful, kind and really seemed to be doing everything possible to find a solution for me. He was also the only person I’ve spoke to so far who seems genuinely apologetic for the problems I’m having despite having nothing to do with the second spray himself. If you do decide to have your house sprayed by this company Richard is someone I would recommend as he seems to know what he’s doing.Terrible experience overall.

I am very satisfied with the visit my technician provided. He took the time to perform a thorough inspection of my foundation and discovered a couple locations that mice could be entering my garage. He then filled the holes, and advised me to contact him, should I experience further problems. Very grateful for his kind attention.

Got paid never saw them again and never answers my calls for weeks/months.. chose them for their guarantee.. turns out the guarantee is that they will never be back again.. got more mice than we started. Waste of $370

Service was great. Very thorough first visit which was much better than the competition. We still have mice so are still working on it but feel they know what they are doing.

The Halifax office is really bad, not professional, and bad customer service. We set up a monthly service, but not sure they come or not. The tenants’ve never seen them coming, and complaint mice problem is more serious than we had this service before. We have called them so many times, but office said we need to ask technicians. We do come with technician to solve the problem in property, and technician said no problem, and let us call office. They are just wasting our times, and office lady is extremely rude. They don’t even listen to us, and hang up the phone. DO NOT USE their service! Rude company, bad service in Halifax. I will tell everyone I know that Terminix Halifax is awful and disappointed.
