We had a private tour and helicopter ride. John was our person. He was amazing. I think we saw way more than we would have on a tour bus. John is super personable and a definite asset to your company. We had Pasquale for the transport to lake tour. He was great as well. Showed us lots of places and enjoyed his personality! Great job!!!

Was a peyto lake and saw a tour guide from sundog. While viewing the scenarios at the railing, he started to yell rudely at us by asking us if we are done which then we let him took the space for his tour. He then make unnecessary comments such as if we are taking a documentary or taking thosands of selfies. Super rude. What a bad representation of the organisation.

Had the most amazing wildlife evening tour with the incredible Yvonne! We saw three bears, bald eagles, elk, marmots and much more. Could not recommend more:)

Some great tour offerings and very knowledgeable guides. Warren and Tom were great! A little pricey but sometimes you just gotta pull the trigger! Thanks Sundog! We'll be back!

Had great experience last month with tour guide Norm and tour guide Fred in the Banff to Jasper one-way tour and in the wonders of Jasper tour! They were so nice and they knew the best viewpoints to take photos.(Also saw two black bears, one grizzly bear, a female moose and her calf, rams and bald eagles along the way, despite that neither of these two tours was a wild life tour.)

My group and I absolutely loved the tour we booked at Maligne Canyon Icewalk! Our guide was so pleasant and definitely made sure we enjoyed our time and took great photos of us! Would definitely recommend

Booked three tours and all of them went from better to even better.First I had transportation from Lake Louise to Jasper. The main Road was closed but they managged to take us anyway by taking a long road through Calgary and Edmonton. Bob was such a great driver for driving safely all way long until Jasper.Then I went to Maligne Canyon. I totally recommend doing this experience by booking a tour and not going by yourself.For last I went on the McBride train experience which at first is by road from Jasper to McBride and then by train from McBride to Jasper. Our driver Alfred was awesome. He did the stops we needed for sightseeing, taking pictures and washrooms. And all the way long explained many features of the landscape and history.

We did a couple of trips with Sundog Transportation and Tours. The first was a private one-way trip from Banff to Jasper via the Icefields Parkway - our guide was Jan who was absolutely brilliant making a few stops along the way and pointing out various points of interest. The second tour was the wildlife tour in Jasper, again with Jan as our guide- what a brilliant tour. We got to see a bald Eagle, a coyote, a fox hunting for food and to top it all, a female mousse and her youngster - absolutely amazing as well as the stunning scenery! Highly recommend Sundog!

Maligne Canyon Ice WalkThis was my favorite activity during the 4-night stay in Jasper (also did the SunDog Winter Wildlife Discovery tour, Jasper Planetarium and Telescope combo at Fairmont, and skating at Mildred Lake Ice Park and Pyramid Lake). Our Maligne Canyon Ice Walk group was 8 people on the morning tour at 9:45 AM. We chose the self-drive option to meet at the Maligne Canyon Wilderness Kitchen. They provided waterproof thermal boots (Kamik brand), cleats, and helmets (have the option of wearing your own boots if you prefer which I did since they are also Kamik brand). The weather on the day of our tour was around -5, calm, and clear. There were a few areas on the declines of the trail and in the canyon that were very slippery and recommended sliding on your butt to get down. Don’t recommend the tour if you are not steady on your feet or uncomfortable walking over ice. Most of the tour was downhill as you start at bridges 1 and 2 ending at bridge 5 where the bus picks you up and drives you back to the lodge. There are some uphill areas but very minimal. The actual physical/walking part of the tour took a little over 2 hours with breaks for rest, photos, and some interesting facts from our tour guide about the area.Our tour guide, Iona, was beyond pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful. She prioritized our safety by ensuring we were all comfortable with where we were walking, gave clear instructions prior to crossing any slippery or difficult to traverse areas, asked multiple times if anyone was getting too cold during the tour and offered hand warmers if needed. The tour itself was amazing with all the scenery but she added that extra something that made the tour super enjoyable! Got to see some stunning views and got some amazing photos. Highly recommend!

We had a great time with our tour guide, Sue! We hit some not so nice weather on our way up to Maligne Lake, however, we still saw several animals!Our biggest wish was to see a moose and unfortunately we weren't so lucky. We decided to take the information Sue taught us and drive out ourselves later in the day...and we got lucky!!!Thanks so much for everything, Sue!!
