Ingrid has been wonderful to work with! She was recommended by our vet and came to help us with our young dog Freddie. She helped us understand the science behind his reactivity to strangers around the home, and also how to take steps to mitigate his separation anxiety. Both of these issues came about due to Freddie’s early months being in lockdown and never experiencing visitors coming into our home nor us leaving our home. It’s a process and to be successful you as the owner have to put the work in with your dog, but Ingrid has been there cheering us on and her continued support has been invaluable. Ingrid knows animal behaviour, but more importantly she truly loves animals and that makes her a great behaviourist!

Ingrid did an extensive review into the issues with our Airedale, was well prepared for each visit and provided us with detailed plans to work with between visits. She took the time to listen, to understand our concerns and provide sound advice. She is very caring and a pleasure to work with and we highly recommend her.

Hiring Ingrid is the best thing that we could have ever done for us and for our dog, Tucker. He is an anxious dog and doesn't always take kindly to other dogs.Ingrid was able to work with our vet to encourage them to increase his anti-anxiety medication and coupled with a few behavioural training sessions and ongoing training at home, Tucker is already doing much better. He is more comfortable and less anxious, and is even able to pass by other dogs on our walks (with some distance) without demonstrating any adverse behaviour.I am so grateful for her and would strongly recommend!

Ingrid first came at our house regarding some ressource guarding. But down the road a situation came up that needed to be addressed quickly. We were at lost with our dog. Ingrid was to prompt and fast to respond to our concerns. She came over, diagnosed our dog’s behaviour issues. The same day she wrote a letter to our veterinarian explaining the situation and the proposed protocol. Our veterinarian agreed with her and hop we go with the protocol for our dog. By the way our dog is doing much better.Ingrid is professional and beyond knowledgeable. She is a good listener and observer. She is very respectful. She understood our dog. We feel very lucky to worked with her and will do in a near future. Actually, she literally saved the day for my family and our dog. Working with Ingrid was gave me so much knowledge. She observes each pet and am amazed at some of the things she picks up on. She showed me how to distract my dog and have her attention on me.(and much more) It was great to see. I like her philosophy on dog training , looking forward to our last session.

The pet counsellor is a very kind person and was even recommended by one of my vet’s , but I did not find the actual counselling to be effective for our situation, a multi pet conflict household. Although we had to pay for 3 expensive sessions upfront we only used 2 over the last 5 months, unfortunately neither any more helpful than the other, and no “checking in” either. It’s possible that her expertise was not tuned into our needs, but she obviously has provided an excellent outcome for others as per reviews.I would recommend inquiring with the counsellor if they had any prior experience with a scenario like the one you’re experiencing before committing to paying so much money. Yet I do understand that if one is desperate you will seek and accept any help you can get.

Ingrid was incredible with our new rescue pup! She really helped us get settled in together and we learned how to help build her confidence and make her feel secure! She wouldn’t get in to the car at all at first but with an Ingrid’s help she now jumps right in! She was also very nervous when we had guests and is now happy to greet them. She also gave us some great ‘missions’ to help with separation anxiety! I reached out to her with a question months after our package was done and she responded so quickly, was super happy to answer my question and gave us some great advice! Walking with my young dog was a nightmare until Ingrid came to our house, walked with us and gave me immediate tips and strategies to deal with the dog's behaviour. I've seen big improvements and highly recommend Ingrid.

Ingrid was recommended to me by another client of hers. My dog Callie has many behavioural issues, but the main ones were reactivity, resource guarding and separation anxiety. I was nervous having Callie meet Ingrid only because she isn't the friendliest dog. Ingrid's extensive education, training and experience were so apparent from the moment she walked in the door. By the end of the first visit, Callie was in love with her, which said a lot given how standoffish she can be. Throughout the 4 sessions with Ingrid, and obviously a lot of work with Callie outside of the sessions, I finally got to leave the house without having to crate Callie, her resource guarding instances have declined drastically and our walks when meeting other dogs and humans are consistently improving. Ingrid provided so much support, resources, and provided the confidence to make me feel like things were going to get better and they did. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a super knowledgeable person, in need of some serious help. Not to mention she comes to your home to see the dogs behaviour in their own environment! We had a wonderful experience with Ingrid. She really took into consideration our whole family including our daughter when providing assistance with our puppy. It was helpful to get a very individualized approach for our specific issues. We have been much happier with our puppy even after our first visit!
