For my first time at this place I'm highly satisfied. You will be able to eat very well for 2 under $70. The service is great the food is good it's not noisy inside and the decoration is quite unique in my opinion. I would recommend it for a date.

Excellent and welcoming staff. The Chef came right out walked us through translating his menu and his specials. Staff was helpful and attentive, and dining room was very comfortable.

Amazing food and service. Chicken was super crispy and grilled from the charcoal and the fries and salad where really good. Had a small problem with my order and the staff fixed my issue super fast and professionally.

If you have no palate and you like reheated food to become dry and not good for eat it anymore, this is your place. Also if you want to eat cod-fish with the taste of the freezer, fried up and with raw veggies for $30 this is also your place. We felt insulted. Never anymore.**UPDATE**What is even more insulting and something that people should consider is that if the chef knows that the food is cooked long time ago and reheated by himself, he will serve you this food anyway. And he will wait for you to complain and do something new? Seriously?We have arrived 4 tables at the same time and all the food for all the tables went out in half an hour.

Some of the best food I’ve eaten in Montreal!!! The food (especially the grilled octopus, wow) was incredible and the chef and staff were so caring and friendly! If you haven’t tried Portuguese food before, this is your sign to try!

I had dinner there with my husband on Valentine's day. It's the second time that we have been there, and it would be the last time. Actually we were quite happy with the service and the food... till we had our desserts. The waitress got the wrong dessert for my husband, but he didn't mind. He actually liked it. I would have liked mine as well if I didn't get a slice of melon that tasted terrible. When I told my husband about it, he looked at the melon and said maybe because it's not so fresh". The chef really cares about how his guests are doing and he has instilled this into his waiting staff.The food was authentic, fresh, so very delicious and at a reasonable price.What more could you ask for? Excellent job Casa Vinho!!
