I cannot say enough about the phenomenal customer service and excellent food quality of Gems! Ordered from their online store and was not disappointed. From boxes of Michidean's patties to mangoes, yam, green bananas, and oxtail meat, the quality was nothing less than best. Bryson kept us updated on estimated delivery time and went above and beyond to ensure that we received our order in the manner expected. Gems is our go-to West Indian store from now on. Highly recommended!

This place never disappoints. I go there when I visit my barber. Their corn porridge is the best. I have also tried their jerk chicken and oxtail and both are good.

The place is small; The aisles are narrow but the worst of all - No prices are on the products. That is a big turn off. I did not feel to go to the cashier all the time to query prices. Let me tell you what to do: ----Put prices on the products; Peace Out.

Been coming here for years. Great selection and very convenient to have one in the neighbourhood. Prices are very reasonable. Some items cost more than others. However by the time you either spend gas time and or bus fare it's cheaper to buy from here.Thanks for having a taste of home so close by so many years!

SPEND YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE!! This place does NOT put prices on their products and that’s because they charge customers different amounts. This is illegal and they should be penalized.

Was passing by this shop and spotted their sign, I needed a coconut for a recipe. Worst decision I made that day! Never in my life have I ever came across anyone selling coconut by the pound, I wanted or should've walked out without the coconut but I ended up paying the $5 for the coconut only to get home and the coconut was not good. My first and last visit to this store. Absolutely ridiculous!!

I had a really good experience at GEM'S. I bought the big container of GRACE all purpose season which is very hard to find and I also was looking for GRACE jerk seasoning in the tub and he said he doesn't carry it, but he will have it for me next weekend.
