Fabulous Dim Sum that keeps coming. Great find in a rather small mall. Food carts provide different dishes throughout meal.

We went to eat here last night, it was absolutely delicious. Me and my woman loved it! The service was fast , our server was very nice. The food was really good , hot and fresh.

We came here for dim sum during our walking food tour. Everything that we tried was really good, but it was lukewarm since it was being wheeled around on carts and not cooked to order. The decor in the restaurant is pretty old and the location isn't great. It's in an old mall. Although, this was the case we thought the dim sum was delicious and would go back for dim sum. Based on other review, we do not think we would try out regular meal service. Go for the dim sum.

I was super happy with the experience! Came Saturday morning and was seated right away next to the window. Staff were lovely, but couldn't pick my tea. Everything tasted great, but I am personally biased towards the cart experience so that was no issue for me. For two people, about $70 after tax and tip. I'll be back next time I'm in Montreal!

The food is decent, but their dim sum during the daytime is better. Unfortunately, the restaurant is really outdated and needs some renovations. Some new plates and utensils would also go a long way. Most in our party were grossed out by what looked like dirty plates and cutlery. It was mostly just very worn sets.

Great dimsum spot in Chinatown. The location is a little hard to find since it's located inside of a mall. They open early, which was fantastic for us to get an early meal in before catching a plane out. We came at 9 am and they cooked the food fresh to order before the rush, but by 10 the carts started rolling out. I'd definitely come back for more next time.

I have had numerous experiences dining on dim sum at various restaurants throughout the island of Montreal, including newly opened establishments. However, after all of that, Restaurant Chinatown Kim Fung remains the place that I cannot forget, with the most delicious flavors. What sets this restaurant apart is the attentive, warm, and friendly service provided by the serving staff. They always show genuine care and dedication in serving their customers. This truly creates a comfortable and cozy ambiance for enjoying a meal.I am committed to continually supporting this restaurant in the future, not only because of the excellent taste of their dim sum, but also because of the care and enthusiasm displayed by the staff.

Suggest to arrive there at 945am ,because the AC is getting colder and colder ,the food is more and more prepared. The Cantonese dimsun is ok , don't compare it with Vancouver, but still it is kind of comfort food for me.

Cozy dimsum place for family and large group gathering. We hesitated a bit before giving it a try because our favorite place (Imperial) closed down. Furthermore, there has been bad reviews in the past. We decided to see it for ourselves. The flavors is not comparable but they are still comforting in my opinion. Stick to the foundations (hargow, siu ai and chi cheung fun, etc.. ). Venture out to fried items if you're with many friends. The atmosphere is as cozy and busy, but not hectic. The tradition of cart pushing is still present. The staffs are accommodating. Some reviews mentioned the rude staffs, we saw it as some serving ladies did not speak English or French well so their replies sounded off, short & to the point (names of dishes). Everyone is trying to hustle for their family. It's not easy to find a job nowadays for peeps like them. One star less for the price as portions, depending on the dish can be small.

Good dim sum (shrimp, pork dumplings) in Chinatown. Relatively good flow of food during the weekend. Prompt service for tea. A bit pricey, expect 30$ per person (tip and taxes).
