Armando's Pizza - Cabana Rd.

We were a group of ten visiting from out of town and had a great dinner with Windsor Style, Detroit, and Wood Fired pizzas. Our server was wonderful, answered plenty of questions and helped us all try the great selection of pizzas. Will be back when I'm in Windsor again.

I ordered lasagna, the portion was large but consisted of many many layers of noodles with microscopic amounts of filler between them and no sauce in the layers. It was covered with a coating of bland tomato sauce and two pieces of processed cheese on top. What a disappointment, I had the same dish at the Walker Rd location and it was great. How can you sell something with absolutely no effort put into it?

Very friendly and attentive staff. Supported our party of 18 with a very delicious coursed meal. The chicken was incredible and the renovations done to the place create a nice atmosphere.

Overall the food is descent. It's more of a sports restaurant than fine dining. Portions for the kids meals are great! . Stick to the pizza and appetizers that is the strength of the place. Overall staff was friendly and atmosphere is no big deal. I would recommend the place for a quick bite and maybe lunch.

I am a salmon connoisseur - and this is the BEST in Windsor. Pair with penne and blush and it's worth the upgrade. Amazing ambiance that welcomes all attires. Great service from Hayley. Definitely recommend

Greetings, my fellow food enthusiasts! I recently revisited Armando's and let me tell you, it was an experience worth writing home about. This was actually my second visit, and I'm already planning my third, so you know it's good.During my first visit, I had The Galtai and it was delicious, a must for all cheese lovers. But this time, I decided to venture out and try the Veg Out. And oh boy, was it worth it! The crust was perfectly crispy, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. As a vegetarian, I felt like royalty feasting on a garden of vegetables.Now, I have to admit, there were a few hiccups during this visit. My friend and I initially went to the wrong location, but the staff there were so kind and helpful in redirecting us to Armando's. And let me tell you, it was worth the wait. The only thing that could have made the experience better would have been if the doors were locked until they were open for service. We arrived before their 4 pm opening time and ended up waiting for a bit with no one around. We ended up awkwardly standing around and walking the plaza, looking like pizza stalkers. But it wasn't a big deal, and we eventually made it inside.Let's talk about drinks for a moment. The fountain pop was decent, but let's be real, nothing beats the sound of cracking open a cold can of pop. It's like music to my ears. Plus, there's just something about the feeling of sipping from a can that makes it taste better. Maybe it's the aluminum or the way it hits the back of your throat, but it's just better. Note that canned pop doesn't come with free refills, but fountain pop does, just in case you were wondering.The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is lively, and the pizza is top-notch. And who knows, maybe you'll even forget about your dietary restrictions like I did. Just remember to check the website and address before you go for the ultimate pizza experience.Overall, I highly recommend Armando's for any pizza lover out there, whether you're a carnivore or herbivore. Their Detroit-style pizza is out of this world, and it's definitely worth a visit. Just make sure to check their hours before you go, and don't forget to try the Veg Out - it's a vegetable lover's dream!

Customer service needs to be addressed. Asked for a booth was told all reserved by the time we left there were plenty of booths available. Had to get my own utensils from another table. No bottled water. We needed new plates when the food came because they took our old ones had to wait for plates. Seems like there's no care to customers just a fast food joint now.

We were in town for the weekend and we wanted to try a local restaurant instead of a national chain. We had no prior knowledge of this restaurant before deciding to stop in and give them a try.Firstly the building is well maintained and renovated to have a nice modern look. Facility is top notch with very clean restrooms, a nice seating area and a beautiful fireplace with a pool table. The centerpiece is the amazing pizza oven feature viewable from the seating area. Ambient music was played at a comfortable volume. It's irritating when it is overpowering and you have to yell over top of it and that was not a problem here.Staff was very courteous and helpful and our server Lukas was superb. Menu options were plentiful with many unique selections. We started with a few appetizers and chose the garlic knots, spinach and artichoke dip which came with fresh light and crispy tortilla chips and 2 lb of boneless wings. They were all equally delicious and cooked to perfection.For our main course we chose a Detriot Pan Pizza called the Roni Ruvver and a Woodfired option called The Godfather. Both of these pizzas were unbelievable. Well-balanced flavors and proportions. No single element of the pizza overwhelmed any other part of it. The ratio of dough to sauce to toppings was perfect. Simply put these were both hands down, the best pizzas I have ever had in my 42 years of being alive on this earth.I can't speak highly enough of this establishment and encourage anybody to go and check them out. I will definitely be back and can't wait for my next trip to Windsor. This will be the highlight of anybody's trip. I would post photos but they are all on my wifes phone. Changed the atmosphere but not for the better unfortunately. Service was very slow...50 minutes to get the salad and artichoke dip, 1 hour to get the mains. The food was quite good once we got it. But their prices reflect high end which this is not.
