Beautiful beach, has park, swings, changing/ bathroom with beautiful flowers in front. There is a stair case to beach. A little steep but sturdy metal. You can see the confederation bridge. We seen lots of dogs and even horses on the beach.

This is the perfect beach for families with little kids. You don't need to worry about undertow and the red sand beach is a great place to dig for clams and catch crabs. And you can see the Confederation bridge. Lifeguards on site, public bathrooms, and playground and picnic area. Awesome family spot!

There are a lot of broken glass bottles on the beach, beware. Water is warm and nice.

I arrived before sundown and walked along the beach. The tide was out so the small pools of water had plenty of minnows and tiny crabs crawling about. I waited for the sunset. Beautiful views.

Beautiful Beach! you can see the confederation bridge in the background and the waves on the sand. we went in the evening, it was nice, not too many people.you can also see hermit crabs.only downside. the washroom facilities aren't the greatest. they are in need of an upgrade.

We decided to drop by this beach during our visit to PEI.We decided on this beach because some have indicated it was warm.It is true. The water is not bone chilling cold. It is warmer than what we had experienced in Nova Scotia. The kids really enjoyed playing in the water and watching the hermit crab. It was low tide when we arrived so the waters were very shallow. The bathrooms were clean and had running water. They also had a hose that you could use to wash off the red sand. The area had a kid park and a large field with picnic tables.Recommend visiting this beach. Its free and not many people were there when we visited.

Little red-sand beach, though it does have a changing room, hot showers and a whole playground for kids! The water there is warmer than northern beaches and offers a beautiful view of the Confederation Bridge!

Small beach area with clean but older washroom facilities. No change station for babies. Steep short staircase to the beach. Not much sand to set up on. Some rocks and seaweed. Nice view of confederation bridge. We didn’t stay for the beach since it was not accessible for carrying a baby and elderly ones with us.
