March 4, 2023Today I spent a lovely Saturday morning learning Pointed Pen calligraphy with Liz. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. The class size was much much smaller than the modern calligraphy class as Liz wanted to ensure she could pay closer attention to each learner and offer her encouragement and feedback. Her tips and tricks were invaluable. Her course was well thought out and you can see all the attention and care she had put in. It was money and time well spent and so fun being with a small group of people who are all excited about practicing calligraphy. I am looking forward to learning Watercolour Lettering in the near future.Feb. 18, 2023I had a lovely Saturday afternoon learning modern calligraphy with Calligraphie with Liz! Liz is an experienced calligrapher and engraver and a fantastic teacher. She provided a bright and spacious environment, a positive and welcoming atmosphere, all necessary supplies, constructive feedback and encouragement, and even light refreshments for all learners. She kept a good flow and pace to her 2.5-hour workshop. Her passion and enthusiasm for this art form was easily seen and felt and was infectious. I’ve already signed up for her next workshop and really look forward to learning from Liz again.
