Sprott Shaw College Nanaimo

I actually get excited coming to school! This is a great place. Everyone is so friendly and the biggest thing for me is they were willing to change the start time of my program, so it would work with daycare pickup and drop off. The instructors all want you to succeed and the smaller classroom sizes are fantastic!

I recently completed the Sprott Shaw College Business Administration Management Program. Small class size was a plus that provided more opportunity to work with instructors and fellow classmates.

If I could give Sprott Shaw zero stars, I certainly would. The only good part about it was my instructor and I met my best friend there. My instructor made class a lot of fun and it made me actually want to go to school. I never finished high school. I skipped all the time and failed every class but when I went to college, I recieved a 4.33 GPA and that was all because of my instructor and the way she taught. She's the most unique person I have ever met and I continue to talk to her to this day.I took the Community Support Work in Social Services program. It was a well known fact that the CSW class was weird". We would have people that were interested in the program sit in for a couple hours or for the day and they would all be told ahead of time about how strange we all were. We were often left out of events and gossiped about.The director was extremely arrogant and condescending. He was never of any help. If you came to him with a problem

I totally recommend Nanaimo Sprott Shaw Campus!!!I enrolled in the Health Care Aide Programme and now work for Island Health.Every single staff member goes above and beyond.After researching other sites I chose Sprott Shaw because everyone was so welcoming, friendly and supportive.We learned even more than just the curriculum from wonderful nursing instructors.The continous enrollment is another wonderful concept, no waiting to start.Enroll today , you won't regret it.

Choosing Sprott Shaw was the best decision I’ve ever made! The instructors are wonderful, the atmosphere is fun, and the courses are challenging. Class sizes are small, which means you get to spend more time ensuring that everyone understands the material. I was one month into my 16 week program when I decided to take on another course - I loved being there that much! I found a job in my field before I had even graduated. I cannot recommend this school enough!

When I started at Sprott Shaw we entered the pandemic 3 months later. Classes still continued as normal just over web-ex. Sprott Shaw handle the transition very well for us to continue with our education. My experience over the past year has been great. The teachers were phenomenal, they were knowledgeable and always willing to help. Thank you to all my teachers for being so great!

I had a wonderful experience at Sprott Shaw Nanaimo! The staff are all so kind courteous and genuinely care for the students. I have a diagnosed mental health condition and the amount of support they gave me when I required a little extra was amazing. Even after I finished my program up until today the staff still. reach out and to check in! I would highly recommend going in and talking to them if your thinking about going back to school it will be worth it!!
