Park Rail

Our experience with Park Rail was poor. They were quick to provide a quote, but once we agreed on a price and estimated installation date, they became very unreliable and non responsive. They appear to lack basic professional processes and controls for estimations, quoting, scheduling and project management.They kept giving us dates for installation and not showing up. The main contact person promised to order the glass for our project then ignored our calls and messages for 3 weeks. He eventually resurfaced and said he had a bad cold and nothing had been ordered, but that he had stock glass that he can use.He asked to take measurements again as the first crew he sent several weeks earlier did not give him notes. when the new contractor he sent asked us to install additional backing, we did so immediately, and he said they’ll return to install in a week. The week passed with no updates and when they didn’t show up on install date, we contacted and they said they’ll come the following week (no apologies, explanation, or remorse). On the following week, the install date arrived and again they didn’t show up and didn’t provide notice. We called and they said it’ll take a third week since they didn’t know about the need for backing and have already booked other jobs (despite knowing the backing is ready and already providing us an install date twice based on that). They were shamelessly stringing us along with a “take it or leave it” attitude.Throughout approximately 6 weeks of interactions, we’ve had to send repeated messages asking for updates and wondering if anyone is showing up as promised and when. They never contact us when they know they’ll be missing a date that they provided, and getting any information or commitment from them is extremely difficult, specially in writing. We received a quote by text message that didn’t include any information about the specifications of the glass and railing that will be installed. The only information we received was verbal or by text message, and they seem to have very short memories and no ability to keep their project information in one place.All in all, we don’t recommend this company for any commercial or residential work. They are extremely unorganized, uncommunicative and unreliable.
