Mamas for Mamas is such an amazing organization. My husband and I had unexpected life changes, along with twins on the way, and the people at Mamas were so kind and provided so many essentials - no questions asked. Thank you everyone for your continued kindness.

Mamas for mamas have helped us for almost 5 years. When I first came to mamas they helped me as I was a single dad with 2 boys in which one boy has a spectrum of autism. We barely survived due to being a low income family. we barely had money for food and clothing. When we met Shannon it was open arms and she said what can we help you out with she gave us food, clothing and some gift cards to help us thank god for that. When it comes to Christmas time I am stressed out as I never had anything as a child so the biggest and best time of the year is Christmas and its hard trying to make my boys Christmas wishes come true being low income. Since Shannon and the beautiful mamas have been in our lives they go out of their way to make their wishes come true. When times are tough you can count on the mamas to pull through .We also received some ice cream gift cards from a beautiful family my kids loved that ice cream it is the best thx more please! Also me being aboriginal I felt welcomed in a racially mixed multi cultural place I felt comfortable it was the most stress free place to be.Please everyone help this organization and just remember if you get a chance PAY IT FORWARD!

This place is simply amazing. A dedicated crew of people making a huge difference for families across the country. If you have an opportunity to help out you should. They are a deserving charity that really makes a difference in our community. Just to have people like this on the world makes me reassured humans are decent. I absolutely love this organization they are unreal.

My husband myself along with our adult son all of whom are long standing business and non profit contributors donated to Mamas for Mamas. The large company the men work for are corporate sponsors yearly and my husband volunteered to be a driver dropping off Xmas gifts. We personally decided to donate a very large amount financially and after discussing with the manager we brought in gift certificates to her. We noticed immediately that no other person there was permitted to talk to us. We offered our time to serve in any way. It was quickly refused. We asked to see more and understand how their gift wrapping which we saw going on (one woman) fit into the bigger picture. We asked how many boxes come through this shop and how will our donation of gift cards be attached to boxes? We were shooed out the door promptly without having any answers. We felt very uneasy and seeing the manager didn’t ask for our contact information we decided to return a few days later hoping to meet someone more responsible who would make time for us. We came and found the same young woman guarding the desk. With a smile we explained again that we were interested in being part of the hands on as well as get a few photos of their operation. With great hesitation she allowed us to enter the ‘operation room’. We were horrified to see one woman in a room full of mayhem. It was like walking into an old thrift shop turned upside down with absolutely no resemblance of a professional organization. We are very disturbed that not only did we as business operators clearly see something seriously off but there was no maturity in the managerial relational interaction. We were treated as though we were a couple of old farts expecting a parade for tossing her a few free hotdogs. Absolutely dishonouring attitude!!!We have never heard from Mamas for Mamas since and no thank you. There are zero photos on any site of the thousands of donations let alone an update or welcome to further participate. We will not donate to this organization again and we strongly recommend large corporations as well as households take their alms to a more worthy cause. We have no confidence our donations ‘all’ reached the needy mamas the organization advertise for. When young managers are established as heads of substantial corporate financial contributions it’s easily seen. How? Just walk in without your business attire and spend a few minutes checking things out as we did, well that is if you can get past the micro managing at the front desk!I’m sad to write this up but entitlement is unacceptable especially when they claim to be representing supporting mothers in need.A lack of morals and ethics in this organization. You just can’t ‘mask’ this one.UPDATE :Thank you for your response below and I look forward to hearing from you as per my email invite sent to you Monday morning January 25, 2021.It will benefit all involved and assist in gaining how crucial and vital it is to tend to communication and follow through in a resolve towards understanding and peace.
