The Lodge on Harrison Lake

Upon our arrival, there was a power outage, no heat and no water when it's sub zero outside. Jason was so nice to offer a late check out to give us time to enjoy the property next morning. The suite #3 is as advertised. Unobstructed view of the lake, clean and well- equipped. We'll definitely come back on warmer days!

Awesome view. Quiet place and room was clean. Private free parking. No Wi-Fi and TV as it was a problem of the whole area but staff managed in a very well mannered way! Very close to restaurants and shops.

As a wedding photographer, I had the pleasure of shooting at The Lodge on Harrison Lake, and it was an absolute dream. The lodge is a stunning waterfront boutique lodge that boasts breathtaking mountain and lake views, making it the perfect location for a picturesque wedding ceremony and reception.What really sets The Lodge on Harrison Lake apart from other venues is its private 2.5 acres of beachfront property. This gives couples the opportunity to exchange their vows in a serene and intimate setting, with their family and friends present. And, of course, as a photographer, I was thrilled to have such a beautiful backdrop to capture those special moments.One of the standout features of the lodge, from my perspective as a photographer, was the natural lighting in the bridal rooms. It's often difficult to get good photos of the getting ready moments, as many hotel rooms offer minimal lighting or harsh fluorescent lighting. However, at The Lodge on Harrison Lake, all of the rooms have large windows with mountain and lake views, which provide ample natural light for stunning photos.Overall, I would highly recommend The Lodge on Harrison Lake as a wedding photographer. The stunning views, private beachfront property, and beautiful natural lighting all make for the perfect setting to capture the most special moments of a couple's big day.

I wanted to really like this place as the views were absolutely gorgeous but there were a few things that brought my enjoyment down.First was that the rooms are not soundproof at all - we were on the bottom floor and could hear our upstairs neighbours waking around, cooking, talking etc. Not ideal, especially later at night when we were trying to sleep. There is also supposed to be a beach but its just a gravel ramp into the water. The check in time is late (3pm) while the check out time is early (10am). And you have to wash your own dishes which I thought was surprising. I am all for leaving a space tidy and clean before you go but I don't want to have to depend on the previous tenants to have cleaned properly - especially when there wasn't a sponge or dish cleaning liquid to be found. Finally there are canoe rentals available but you have to text the owner to get them? I wish they were available on site and we were given a code to a lock instead when we booked them rather than having to go through that.The positives are that our room was very nice, the location is great if you don't want to stay in town (far enough to feel removed but close enough to not have to worry about popping in). I overall enjoyed my time here but wouldn't stay again.

Beautiful spot and location. Rooms were so cozy and the view is beautiful! Really enjoyed our stay and we will be back for sure .

Excellent beds and cabin 1 was wonderful. Highly recommend this cabin. Very clean and has everything you need. Beautiful lake front view along with a private area for bonfires and bbq. Very close to Harrison Hot Springs.

My best friend and I arranged a weekend trip to Harrison as a gift to our mothers, and the Lodge on Harrison Lake was just great. We went in mid-November, and so because of the weather we spent most of our time inside enjoying the really lovely and comfortable living area and all of us agreed it was one of the most relaxing weekends we'd ever had. We stayed in Cabin 1 and every room of the cabin is set up to have a beautiful view of the lake and mountains, and each room had individual controls for heat and air conditioning which was handy since my mum and I run warm, and my friend and her mum run cold! The kitchen had everything we needed (fridge, dishes, cutlery, coffee maker, tea kettle), and the bathroom was lovely with a really nice rain shower head.The Lodge is SUPER conveniently located, and we were able to drive in to Harrison and be at any one of the great restaurants or the public hot springs within just a few minutes. We were able to spend evenings listening to music via our Spotify account easily hooked up to the TV, and afternoons reading in the living room enjoying the view.The only things I'd mention are that I think the wifi could do with an extender for the cabin, as none of us were able to connect for more than a second - however this was not a big deal as we had full mobile service at the cabin. And the living room could use one more chair so people can sit around the coffee table to play a game, etc. Otherwise we had a great time and will absolutely be back.

Can’t say enough good things about the property. If you’re looking for a quiet weekend getaway with breathtaking views, book yourself a cabin at The Lodge. You won’t be disappointed!

We stayed one night for our anniversary. Suite was definitely smaller than expected, bed was VERY soft causing quite a restless sleep and the room was not very sound proof to footsteps and movement above. Beautiful view which is the best part for sure!

What more can be said about waking up so seeing water gently lapping on the shore line from your bed. The views are breathtaking. Many different room types to accomodate whatever occasion. The grounds are pristine, with available fire pits available to enhance the evening. A perect place for a wedding or just a get away form all the hustle and bustle.
