Wonderful Nails Spa

Got gel nails, and they are okay, not great. Had to file some when I got home because the edges were very sharp. The lady was on the phone half the time and was quite unprofessional. She also kept touching her mask and going back and forth between clients. Fair prices but not a great experience.

I have been coming to Wonderful Nails since they opened. In fact, I drove back here from Coquitlam when I lived there for almost 3 years. Everyone at Wonderful is skilled, professional and friendly. The facility is very clean and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I used to be a regular customer here but since December the quality has dropped dramatically! When I ask for what I want they become cranky and tell me there are others waiting and if they knew they wouldn’t take me. I called and booked an appointment but they didn’t write my name down. Since December I didn’t come here and I thought maybe I can give it another try but they disappointed me. I doubt if they know enough English to read this or even care, but if you know English and you are reading this know that they are not reliable and you cannot know what you end up getting! I did French colour and asked for a thin tip and she couldn’t make it so I have this huge white tips now!

Friendly and talented nail techs. Who great clients well and like people.No different language jokes at customers expense. Love this place.

Was going to give a decent rating until I saw what the lady did to my nails underneath the polish — scraped away layers and left ugly dents when she rushed to take off the previous shellac I had left. Definitely not coming back.

I’ve been going to Wonderful Nails Spa for over 6-7 years and always been pleased; but recently in the last year or less the owner has hired a couple new staff and they are horrible!! One young women and one young male, both weren’t trained adequately. Now every time I go I manage to have either one of these staff! The young women hurts my nails with the grinder to remove polish. I’ve asked her to be more careful and turn down the grinder and she just ignores me! She tried to give me a neck massage once and she’s awful at it; so I needed to ask her to stop. The male tech is just as bad, always looking at the clock and rushing. I feel stressed just being around these two!It’s really too bad because all the other staff are so kind and friendly; I will miss them, but I’m not going back.

I had booked an appointment for myself and two friends, we arrived for our slotted time and my one friend went to the washroom as they sat myself and our other friend. We then realized all pedicure stations were filled and nobody was near done, so my one friend had to wait on the couch and didn’t get seated until 35 minutes after our appointment was scheduled to start. By this point our other friend is halfway done and while I’ve been seated this whole time nobody had started my pedicure. Meanwhile the women beside me had two people working on her nails (mani and pedi) inside of using one of the three available manicure stations afterwards. On top of this, both nail techs who worked on myself and my friend took personal phone calls on their cell phones while painting our nails. And while we all started at very different times, we all happened to finish at the same time. Therefore my friend who was seated last was rushed through her pedicure. While the pedicure itself turned out okay, we were really disappointed with the lack of professionalism throughout our appointment.
