Sylvan is definitely the best solution to improve my daughter Karla's reading skills, since she started her program with Sylvan her confidence in reading has increased. The staff is very friendly and professional.

Sylvan has helped our son in so many ways besides academically. Not only have his math skills and comprehension improved, his confidence has increased as well. The gains from Sylvan have also come in the form of no more emails from his teacher about disturbing other students, or acting out in class. The benefits of knowledge & comprehension have poured over into being a better student socially. I would recommend Sylvan to any aged student looking for a boost at school.

My son enjoys going to Sylvan and says their classes are fun - that's a huge win right there! His teacher at school has noticed an improvement in his writing after just 2 months, and we can see that he's making more of an effort now, and has more confidence in his writing abilities. We love that Sylan is open throughout the summer and holiday breaks, so there's no falling behind. The cost isn't cheap, but we feel that investing in our son's education (and confidence!) is well worth it! Besides, most sports programs cost just as much. Esther and Mary are so pleasant and wonderful to deal with, and our son really likes his teacher Misha. P.S. My son has been harassing me to write this Google review so he can get bonus points toward his Sylvan reward (which is another great incentive that keeps him wanting to do well at Sylvan!), so he will be happy with this review ha ha!

My daughter just started attending Sylvan Learning which is a new experience for our family. Esther, the Centre Director, has been excellent and thorough in responding to our questions and concerns and putting our daughter at “ease” through relating to her age appropriately with kindness, understanding, and compassion.I believe attending Sylvan will be a great experience for our daughter where as parents we will learn and grow through her experience. After term 2 report cards this year, I realized that both my children (Grade 3 & 5) needed some help catching up on different areas of their education. I called Sylvan right away & they assessed both children & came up with an excellent education plan for each of them. The staff are professional & kind. My children LOVE the reward system for their hard work. It’s a calm atmosphere for them to learn skills that they may had missed out on during the dreaded pandemic. My son goes to Sylvan Langley for literacy sessions. He has attended about 22 sessions and I already see lots of improvement. Staff at this location is very kind and knowledgeable. We get constant feedback and already attended two meetings.He is learning some important strategies that is helping him with his vocabulary, written and spoken.
