HSBC Bank

Two stars for good customer service at teller. Zero for opening a TSFA account here. Hard to find a parking spot as well. Purposely booked one week in advance to allow them to prepare and I filled out a form ahead of time. The person is so unprofessional and not knowledgeable. She had to use a blank form to compare mine. This should be done / studied / read before hand. Not nicely dress, don’t reflect the image of a bank. Wasting my time to fill out a page again. I worked with contracts before, anything changed can just initial it no need to type out again unless you have time. Her typing speed is SUPER slow. Asked her to double check before I left. Called me again later something is missing. My husband did the same thing at RBC McCrown x Hwy 7, their service is much better.

The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The wifi for guest was not so user friendly at login..And for that, Tim Horton wifi is much better

If you're smart or actually from Canada, I highly recommend to NOT bank with HSBC. I would rather take a fork through the eye, no lie.There are probably 10 people working at one time and not one is competent. The thing is, they are all nice and can speak both Chinese and English pretty well BUT they have to follow their insane policies, which is completely not their fault. The bank policies they have are insane and they run on some other kind of policy - nothing similar to actual Canadian banks.Long story short - my mom had written me a cheque and my bank sent me a form to bring to HSBC to just verify that the money had indeed came from my mom's account. It was a formality really and seemed simple enough. I drove here on my lunch to try to get this done. First of all. The premier AND the regular line had the same amount of people and moved at the absolute same speed.... so why are they trying so hard to push their premier accounts saying that they'll prioritize you and you get special treatment? I call BS.Anyway I went up to the lady and explained the situation ^ she pulled up my mom's account and saw that it did come out her account, just a few days ago. I say great

Don’t understand the 1-star rating here…Everyone is so friendly and help here. I was here for two bank drafts and it took me like 10-15 minutes. Staffs are so polite they can’t stop saying thank you. Shout out to Yuki!

Customer service is horrible. They are very slow, the teller's english is not good either. They question you even after you give them an answer... They even had to go talk to the manager which was quickly dismissed. On top of it, parking is awful!

Read this before you go!!! Personnel always talk to you suspiciously like they have been through many complaints before. For just tried to open a personal account. I wasted 3.5 hrs in there. Avoid this branch unless you have whole day to kill or you are extremely patient.

If Thursday is closed , why the website showing open?

If only a zero star rating was available - this branch would be most deserving. Come here if you only wish to use the ATM's. Don't hold your breath if you so choose to stand in line. The only thing you'll be depositing is your time.

The most imcompetent branch ever.Requested to change my name, took like an hour to make a copy of all my IDs (drivers license, TD bank card, student IDs all showing the same name I'm requesting to change) also permission from manager then asked me to call a week after to request my new card b/c they have no way of doing that using their poor system.Called one month after, nothing changed and asked me to go back again as this is a branch problem... The worst part is that you can't submit any copies of your id online and the wait time is ridiculous even with so little customer.HSBC should really up their game here in toronto.

Very unprofessional account manager Peter Lin, not willing to help in any way to assist my several requests. Call, email, text him and never reply back. When I finally met him in person, he was very impatient to answer my questions and address my issue. Well, he basically made me wait for 45 mins to deny my request. He insisted to hold my cheque deposit even it’s only for $1. That’s exactly what he said! I understand that each bank has its own policy and that’s the reason for the existence of account manager with additional privileges to address different issues. Will be moving all my personal and business account out of HSBC.
