Horizon Medical Clinic

Clinic is never open , they don’t answer their phone , doctors give you 1 minute and then simply write out a prescription. They don’t follow science in any way and went with mass hysteria over a seasonal flu and still are . They’re literally advising people to take shots that cause heart damage and are handing out prescriptions instead giving out advice or running tests . Should not be trusted

For walk-in, check to see which doctors are present first, and I recommend going somewhere else if it's Dr Roos. The reception staff is phenomenal. I came to Dr Roose with a serious medical concern that would take me 70 seconds to explain. 20 seconds in, he interrupted me to tell me to hurry up because the clinic was busy. It made me quite flustered, and I ended up forgetting to tell him half of my symptoms. After a quick physical he recommended I find answers with a lab. Essentially, he wanted to hear what quick prescription he could write and push me onto the next healthcare facility, instead of helping me with my health.Of course I knew he was busy - I had just been waiting 2 hours in the line I joined 30 minutes before the clinic even opened. And he was clearly overworked, which is a serious problem with the healthcare system that I keep nagging my NDP MLA to pay attention to.If you want medical attention, find someone else. If you're looking for a quick refill for your prescription drug addiction, he's probably the right doctor for you.

Do not see Eliza Kroeze. She’s nice at first but shows another side when things don’t go her way. I came here for the 2 month baby checkup, my daughter wasn’t feeding well and was not gaining weight as expected. I also asked for a prescription for her Meningitis B shot. The appointment felt very rushed.Eliza Kroeze then prescribed my 2 month old the wrong vaccine. When I made her aware of her mistake on the phone a couple days later and politely asked her to get back to me once she’s had time to look into it, she told me in a terribly arrogant and condescending tone that she’s capable to do her job just fine (which apparently she’s not cause if I hadn’t checked the prescription the wrong vaccine would have been administered into my 2 month old’s tiny body which would have granted a law suit), and if that’s not enough she sent me a follow up email letting me know she and any other nurse at the clinic will no longer see me as a patient and also cancelled the weight check appointment for my infant.So in summary she kicked me and my 2 month old baby who was not gaining weight as expected out of her care after *she* was the one making a serious mistake and could not handle me questioning her in any way.Looks to me like a bruised ego is getting in the way of providing medical care. Completely unprofessional.

I was one of the first people to show up when it opened, and was the last to leave after about 4 hours.

The Doctor is rude and disrespectful - I requested bloodwork and he denied it right away because he didn't think I needed it even though he has never seen me as a patient before. The clerk then booked me an appointment and sent me for blood work just to call and deny me as a patient because I advocated for myself. They admitted to denying me healthcare because I advocated for myself and the doctor didn't like that. Shame on this clinic and Dr.CRUZ. Absolutely shameful.

At the office for when it opened at 8am. 3 hours later still waiting in the office to see a doctor. Try another office that doesn't do in take for 100 people in the morning and a first come first serve basis.

It's not secret that the health care system is overloaded and it is really hard to see a doctor, let alone a GP. I came to Horizon clinic after trying 4 other clinics and everyone was full. They were at the end of the day, but still took me in. The receptionists were really kind, and so was the doctor. It can be hard to have a human experience" and not be treated like another number/case to go through. I was impressed at how kind the team was

As is the case I believe with a lot of clinics and just reviews in general, the people leaving bad reviews most likely either have bad people skills or were unlucky enough to catch an employee on an off moment. My experience with this clinic was just as it should have been: efficient, friendly, and without a subsequent trip.

In our disaterous health care situation, finding Horizon's Clinic was an amazing experience. The staff are friendly, professional & treat each person with great empathy. Having facilities onsite to provide further testing was wonderful as well. Thank you!

My 11 month old need to see doctor for antibiotics, they send me back even I was there at 9.30 saying they are full. I request them that it's bad as my daughter has fever and cold and refusing food. I was disappointed by there service. I start call and thankfully a clinic in abby save my spot over the phone, so I was able to see doctor.Just to be clear that was not my first time going there I went there Two days before and they told me to come on Monday at that moment situation was not serious so I wait on the weekend. But still Monday was refused for service.
