Delicious Chinese and western food at Island Inn - a must visit! Affordable pricing across the menu. I am so happy we found this restaurant.The owners were welcoming and asked relevant questions about our journey.Preparation time was faster than expected and the portion size was generous. The restaurant was clean, and although indoor dining is closed, felt comfortable.

The 2 times the two of us branched this business we felt ripped off. The first time we ordered a dinner for 3, never did receive any of the 3rd persons items because we ate in. The second time we ordered take out which was the same, dinner for 3. We substituted the chicken balls for ginger beef, which should come with the dinner anyways, and was charged $7 extra which ticked us off and got a small wonton soup that was for 1 person only. How do we split a wonton soup between 3 people? We will pick up our Chinese dinners in the city from now on.

Love the food , good taste , my fav. are the ribs even though they have the bone in. Not too much too choose from but very tasty .We go for the lunch buffet.

It was actually pretty darn good! Gigantic portions and really reasonable prices! I love that it looks like the prairie restaurants I remember as a kid! Get there early as it closes by about 730PM!

Words do not justify the food here. This small and unassuming restaurant makes one of the most authentic chinese food I have had in the area . We came as a party of 4 and we were seated right away . We had the lunch buffet and I would highly recommend it. The selection of food is great and they even serve pizza for that friend who doesn't have the taste for Chinese food. I will be back .

Should have read the reviews new to bowisland and I'll never eat here again. Chicken balls weren't cooked still raw doe, no taste to food and by far it's the worst chinese food I've ever ate.. we purchased dinner for 3 and I'm taking it all back. $55 worth of dog food not impressed

A little gem in small town Alberta! The Chinese food is authentic, and there is also a wide array of western diner selections if you prefer. The owners have run this place for over 20 years, and they continue to serve the local community with a smile on their face. Give this place a try if you’re in the area!

Food is great and the Calamari is fantastic, just wish they never changed there pizza sauce. Still it is a great place to eat. Never a bad meal for us.

It might be small, but the food is great. Gluten Free options as well. They will help you select the GF dishes if you are unsure. Buffet option is available. If some trays are empty, they are on it and will bring out fresh food.
