Great outdoor space to learn. Skateboard, scooters, bmx, rollerblade all allowed. Right next to waterfront and leads to walking trail. Great spot to take some wicked shots or videos. Bring your camera, it's worth it. Featuring some local art, this place is consistently changing.

Downtown Skate Park
Took my two sons here ages 10 & 11 and they had a blast. It is crowded but it was worth it. Park is in a nice area and layout is great. There is seating at one end but would have liked seating at side so i could supervise my children easier and be able to see them at all times. I ended up just laying a blanket out on grass under a tree so i could watch them.

Great spot, nice surrounding area, seats to sit in while kids do their thing, shaded area to sit.
