I bought 10 Kg of ground beef from them today, all red in the outside and...all brown in the inside. Never saw this before, will never go to this place again.

Where to begin? Impolite management, very impolite owners, meat is low quality (chicken however is good), expensive and service is slow and bad. Overall, i don't know how it's still open.

First of all for everyone giving this place less then 3 stars or even describing bad service, if you want a quality service or people smiling at you, then go to your local butcher and pay double for the same meat!!! Viandes Metropolitain is and still known as a wholesaler not a retailer, but he opens his business to the public based on many people's request. His meat is distributed to all Quebec butchers, do not blame the people working over there because they are working in a freezer all year long!!!! Just imagine yourself doing it and then try to put a smile on your face. The place is great, you show up there, take a number and simply repeat your order so the poor frozen employee can understand it! And of course because of Quebec laws of sanitation unauthorized people are not allowed to go inside that is why you cannot see your meat, but believe me after almost 20 years of buying their meat, they never went wrong. Keep up the good work guys, you will always deserve a 5 stars from people like me who appreciate your service.

The chicken is NOT halal. Dont be fooled!Look into it yourself, ask about the electrification process!Ask a prominent sheikh and even better just go there and tell them you want to see the chickens being slaughtered. If they are deceased upon removal from the water after its electrified then it is NOT halal!

I love the measures they took for COVID-19! Really nice move on only taking orders over the phone. It actually reduces the contact between customers and employees. The place feels clean although it does look a bit ghetto" but keep in mind its mainly a wholesale store willing to sell for retail! Very happy with the quality of the product and good price/quality ratio. Overall very satisfied

Great place for wholesale meats for restaurants.They have a variety of meats in beef and chicken and shawarma too.Very friendly staff and good selection of meat at reasonable price.It is important to talk to staff about your needs so your order is custom made for your recipes and needs.Ansolute must to talk to if you need meats especially Halal too
