Herby Restaurant - Persian Cuisine
This was my first visit to Herby. I’d heard so much about it. Glad to report the rave reviews were on the money. The owner came and greeted us. The seating is clean and modern. They checked our vaccination proofs at the door and kept the front doors open to ensure ventilation.We had the Fesenjan and the Cheese Koobideh and they were both fantastic. The Spinach Borani was really well done, as were the desserts: we had the ice cream and the cake—great combo, they should sell them together!

This is NOT just a simply restaurant to eat! If you want to experience of love, art, beauty , harmony , taste and peace , check this place out. This is one of the best Persian restaurant on town. The food is amazing and Agha Javad" is one of the best chef/ host ever. I would highly recommend to dine in."

Lovely Persian restaurant on the Danforth. Great variety, amazing and friendly service and really tasty food! We had Kashk e Bademjan (my favorite starter), Baghala Polo & Lamb Shank, Zereshk Polo and Chicken, Persian Baklava Cake, and Saffron and Pistachio Ice Cream. I wish we had room to try more but that just means we have to return. For drinks we had mint tea.

The ambiance was cozy and romantic, with dim lighting and charming decor. My friend and I shared “Queen Platter” and it was very good. I also ordered their bread Tahdeeg and it was delicious. Really recommend it. The prices were reasonable given the quality of the food and experience, and I left feeling satisfied and delighted with my dining experience.

Very nice and quite place to enjoy some good persian food. Food is very fresh and juicy, servers are friendly and patient.Some nights the owner comes up to tables and makes sure you enjoyed your food.

Delicious Persian food cooked to perfection. Beef koobideh was juicy and flavourful. Even chicken breast, which is often overcooked at other restaurants, was reasonably juicy and soft. The homemade hummus was impeccable. Dessert-wise, I recommend Persian baklava cake or saffron & pistachio ice cream. I will be back here in the future when I’m craving Persian food.Service: Fantastic! No complaints whatsoever. Our server was attentive and courteous.Ambiance: Aside from one wall shelf that's about to fall on one of the tables, the interior is nicely done. They might want to consider getting nicer furniture for the patio. Inside, it's pretty comfy though.

loved the ambience of this place! the Menu is pretty extensive so there are a lot of options. the kebab (minced beef) was one of our favorites. the drink was too sweet for my liking but overall a lovely Persian restaurant to try out.

I highly recommend koobideh kebab but do not recommend neither Fesenjoon nor Ghormehsabzi stews at all. They were disappointing. Chiken kebabs are not bad but I didn't like them. Kashke bademjan was made with barbequed eggplant and I like the taste however it could be more thick.Olive was great and baklava cake also was delicious. I liked the icecream but it was small.The server was friendly and cool!

The restaurant has a nice and calm atmosphere. The servant was very nice and helped us with the suggestions. The food was a huge disappointment. It was cold and seem heated. Tastes nothing like Persian food, the stews were not tasty at all, tasted meaty and the meat chunks were hard to chew. The grilled chicken and beef were also below expectations. The tea and cake were good. I wish this is one time flaw and they serve better food as they have high rating.
