Budget Blinds of Ajax and Whitby

Service is terrible. Requested a quote since August 2021. Kept following up for 4 months by text, phone and emails. They made us do our own measurements and after we spent so long waiting for service and narrowing down what we wanted, we submitted our order request and never heard back from anyone. We ended up going with Blinds to Go and within a month of the person coming to our home, taking the measurements themselves and placing our order, we received our blinds. What an initial waste of our time.

Our experience with Budget Blinds team, starting with Imtiaz was fantastic, start to finish.We were provided with a wide variety of choices to meet our needs and the prices were reasonable. Installation process was smooth and done very professionally.Will definitely use them for our future needs and recommend them to our family and friends.

I ordered dual shades, curtains and window film. This is my honest opinion:Customer Service 10/10: They were very accommodating and patient while I chose materials for the window treatments and spent several hours with me during the consultation. A major plus was that they let me provide my own fabric for the curtains. They were subsequently easy to get in touch with and responded quickly to emails.Execution 8/10: Generally, installation went well, the dual shades in particular look great and fit like a glove. My main disappointment came from a bit of over promising on their part. I was told the chains for the dual shades can be ordered in a shortened length due to safety reasons but the final product was regular length. The cut/application of the window film was not smooth, the corners do not lay flat. I was told after a month, the bubbles will subside (they have not, this is definitely not a bubbling issue). Finally, I noticed a screw missing from one of the curtain rods, a minor issue which was eventually rectified.I would recommend them for dual shades but not window films. Make sure you thoroughly inspect the installation so that any problems can be rectified right away.

We purchased a set of door glass inserts and a set of door mini-blind inserts from them.Overall, we are quite happy about the experience. Razia is friendly and profession in all phone and email communications. She was able to give us a price within our budget. Since we chose self-installation, Imtiaz delivered the product to our home (of course for a fee, but was reasonable). He gave us many tips and suggestions on the installation, very helpful.I would give them a 4.5-star rating if I could. The reason for a half point reduction is because the products were not delivered on time as planned (although the 3-week delay was caused by the manufacturer). Razia did provide updates wrt the delivery delay.

From start to finish, our experience with Budget Blinds of Ajax and Whitby was excellent. We never felt rushed or pressured during our in-home consultation, and when we weren’t able to go with our first choice (we had wanted California shutters for our bay windows) due to there not being enough room for the frame, Imtiaz walked us through all of our options and helped us to choose the perfect blinds for us and the space.The installation process was also seamless. As soon as our custom blinds were ready, the installation date was scheduled really quickly and before we knew it, our blinds were up!We chose Budget Blinds of Ajax and Whitby over other companies as they struck the perfect balance of having good quality products at a reasonable price with a knowledgeable and friendly team.We would happily work with them again and recommend them to anyone looking for custom blinds.

Imtiaz and Razia were nice overall to deal with. We love our window treatments and Price was within our budget.Taking a star out given we contacted them to have our patio vertical blinds opening changed to the right side now as we noticed having it on the left side was blocking the doorway too much when going out.The reply was the track is custom designed for the stack and controls. Changing them doesn't work."We expected them at least to come by to check if this was possible or not.We ended up looking it up online and were actually able to do it."

Budget Blinds of Ajax and Whitby were great to work with. We ordered 12 blinds, cellular for upstairs and zebra blinds for the main floor, and both types look great and work great. They were friendly and cooperative and shared with us different types of blinds and samples. The whole process from ordering to installation was seamless and professional. We are really pleased with the experience and the blinds.

Great service and delivered earlier than anticipated!I was not an easy customer as I changed my mind a few times. Each phone call or email that I sent Imtiaz and Razia they were very understanding and rescheduled another visit to ensure we would be happy with our investment.Product we ordered (Roman blinds) was exactly what we ordered and was installed with not a single issue!Highly recommend this company!
