Rocky is a great instructor, no matter what program you take you will have the basic knowledge to get a beginner welding position, I did the industrial program and got hired on somewhere right after school for over $25 a hour so it is a great investment.

General welding school is one of the greatest schools out in Toronto. I did my general welding program there.I was done within 2 months had lots practice there and I was taught a lot by Rocky they also helped me find a job right away after I graduated from the program. Shout out to Rocky and crew for getting me on the straight and narrow concerning pipe welding. Everything I needed was at the faculty, aside from my own PPE, and everything went well. My questions were always met with answers or demos, and my requests were met with solutions.I highly recommend this place for those who want to learn to weld, or brush up their skills. I walked into this school with zero prior welding experience and left CWB certified and employed with the help of Rocky, Nick, Ryan and Ivan. Spend your time wisely here, be focused, ask questions, follow the rules, listen to criticism and practice hard. If you truly want to become a welder, this is the place for you.

Rocky is a fantastic teacher and the time spent here can pay dividends in your welding career. By far the best teacher I've had. They'll even help you get work when you're done the course here. I highly recommend to anyone looking to start their career. You'll learn all types of welding as well.

I admire the authenticity and history of this place, it’s the oldest welding school in Ontario and family run which is really inspiring! It is an overall positive, supportive and safe environment to want to learn in everyday. My boyfriend is currently working to become a general welder here and has had a great experience so far :)

Rocky and Nick are very passionate about welding and its shows in their teaching and principals. Rocky's Father was a welder as well so it is no surprise that they have a vast deep knowledge of the trade. I am beyond happy I chose this school over others because of this, and the fact that all their machinery is well maintained and looked after. You get your own booth, Welding machine and all the tools needed for any task you are given. The instruction from them is amazing and I encourage anyone who is a welder or wanting to get into the trade to contact them they are just a great family run company. Thank you guys!

I knew I wanted to pursue a career in welding but didn't know what school to go to. I went to General Welding School to get some more information and found there curriculum was compact and allowed me to learn every process, and finish with licences and certification upon completion in such a short time. No other school provided what I was looking for in terms of saving me time and money. Nick and Rocky are down to earth and personable, they provide one on one teaching and make sure that you are well equiped before entering the field. I went in with an interest for welding but knew nothing, I left the school with some experience and lots of confidence. They also found me work that suited me and made me optimistic for the future. When you go into the school read all of the posters they put up, i found out after that they were true. Also Nick likes a regular tea with milk and Rocky a coffee with two milk ;).
