Hertz Car Rental - Bellevue - East Side HLE

Booked a car online and it was such a slow service ! First of all, there is no name plates or boards to this location . This is inside a storage shop and we parked in the next street and then walked in to find this spot .The service was sooooo slow :( takes ages for us to get our car . Be cognizant when they inspect ur vehicle . The guy missed out some scratches etc . We had to call back and send him . Otherwise , the price of vehicles is good and it’s convenient spot to pick .. very nicely located in Bellevue .. overall an average experience!

1. Around 12 people with separate reservations are gathering in-front of the front desk and all of them refused since there are no cars available despite them having a reservation. It appears that this is common here and there is a system issue with hertz. So be warned , you will arrive with a reservation and most likely will NOT get any car! It's important to review so other can know that.Front desk agents are very uninterested in almost anything and I don't find their work attics very professional . I have noticed Only One agent who function like a pro and try to be polite and helpful.There is no accuse for that issue to go on and in in a professional car rental agency.

I made a 2-day reservation for a quick out-of-town trip about 3 weeks ahead of time.  When I arrived to pick up my reserved car (literally any car with an automatic transmission) the agent said there were no cars available.  The guy behind the counter was indifferent (perhaps this happens all the time?) and suggested that I leave a number and he would call if a car became available.  He said that he didn't know if a car would come in today and that people sometimes keep their cars longer than reserved.  When I asked what the point of making a reservation was if they didn't have cars to rent, he shrugged.  I guess there is no point in making a reservation.Apparently, this is a great place to go if you're ambivalent about whether you actually get a car.  It doesn't seem reasonable to me to hang around the store all day hoping a car comes in. I had to make other travel arrangements.

The service of hertz at this location is very bad. The staff is not at all courteous and helpful. They will show as if they are super busy. The car pickup takes an hour or more. The manager at this location is also not at all helpful. I was given a car with concrete wash and when I refused they said it is just mud. You will always see long line of customer waiting at this location. I will definitely avoid this location for car pickup in future.

Horrible. Booked 3 months ago a mid size car. The night before I get a message they don’t have any card. I called 3 times and they hung up or put me back in one line calling until I finally reached someone. He said they are closing at noon, not open tomorrow and they don’t have a car and don’t know if they will get one. Now all other rentals are triple the price. The customer service rep had an attitude, was completely unhelpful and rude. Said “I can’t predict if we will have a car in the next hour and a half or not.” I asked if they had cars in the lot and he said yes but not rentable.

Only giving 2 stars cause the car was fine. Picking up the car took over an hour. They had 2 employees working and at 5 on the dot one of the employees basically said he was done and not checking anyone else in even though people had been in line prior to 5pm. The other guy did stay and helped everyone so I give credit to that. Then when time came to return the car, low and behold they only have 1 person working and the line was out the door..Be prepared for it to take minimum an hour each time. Pay the extra money and go to Enterprise.

Unfortunately, my experience was marred by the unavailability of a vehicle. I was informed that no vehicles were available despite my reservation. The manner in which your staff handled the situation compounded my frustration. The customer service representatives I interacted with displayed a lack of empathy and failed to offer any viable solutions to resolve the problem promptly. The unhelpful and dismissive attitude I encountered was both disheartening and disrespectful, as it left me without a vehicle and stranded. Good luck if you rent from here.

Good place to rent. The staff were cordial and helpful. Although we had to wait for sometime as the timings were not properly mentioned in the hertz website.. 12am is the pickup/delivery time. We reached earlier, so had to wait. However, the process was smooth and we got a pretty decent, clean car

Management for this Hertz seemed really disorganized, and this seems to be a systemic issue because cars are overbooked daily. However, when we arrived, there was no communication about this fact. We waited in line for an hour, only to be told by a very apologetic and very stressed employee that there were no cars available. If this were the case, an announcement should have been made, or a sign should have been put up so that we weren’t waiting in line for so long without any information.When we found out that there were no cars available, we stepped out to make reservations elsewhere, because we had plans for that evening in Oregon. Most people left after overhearing, and a woman who had just arrived went up to ask if there were cars coming in the next couple of days since she was under no time pressure. Apparently, there was a Tesla available immediately. She got the rental while we were outside trying to make plans to get out of state by this evening. This was upsetting because we had arrived before her and had been waiting for an hour before she’d even arrived. Additionally, we (and many others in line) had time sensitive engagements while she explicitly stated that she did not. This situation should have been handled differently in order to be more equitable, and at the very least, communicated more clearly so that we could make informed decisions on our own, rather than just waiting in line for an hour.We ended up calling Enterprise, and immediately getting a car from there for a similar price, without any hassle.

Had booked economy type rental car 2 weeks in advance, when I arrived to pick up the car, only one premium sized SUV was available and was forced to pay much higher price per day. There was no correspondence in advance that economy cars weren't available that morning. Staff has the printed list of customers for that day, why can't they simply call and convey/confirm the reservation. This isn't fair for customers to pay more unnecessarily.
