Jed has done three jobs for me recently - deck railing, fence and fixing a balcony on my studio. Jed knows what he's doing and I'm very satisfied with his work. Jed is very knowledgeable. He knows everything about construction. I had him open a window on the basement concrete wall and build a window well. He did a fantastic job. He did everything by himself (like a superman!!).Jed is very polite and patient. At the beginning we had to change the plan a few times. He always listened, patiently answered all of our questions, and explained everything very well. Whenever I called him or left him a message, he always returned my call. He values customer service. He took cares of all my inquiries. When my inquiries were not in his specialized area, he referred me to a professional who knew the job better. I found Jed to be very professional in all aspects of his work. He sets very high standards for himself when it comes to the building trade. At the last stage of the project, he had a keen eye for the details of the job no matter how big or how small the job was. We were all very happy and felt lucky to have him as a project manager. After the main project was finished, I had some other jobs that needed to be done; I had no hesitation in calling him again because of his very high standards and overall attention to detail.Overall, Jed is a nice person, a good worker, and a true professional! I highly recommend Jed for your home renovations and carpentry needs. Jed recently built me a beautiful custom pantry in my kitchen and a custom shelving system for my entryway closet. He is very detail oriented and goes to great lengths to make sure the customer is satisfied. Jed spent a lot of time researching and discussing with me the materials for the projects and making sure I was happy through the whole process. The finishing on the projects is nothing but professional. I look forward to working with Jed on some other projects in the near future, including a custom floor to ceiling wooden bookshelf.

Jed is a real professional and a joy to work with. He does top notch work and is very particular. We had a carport that was converted to a bathroom and closet and Jed walked us through the entire project from drawing plans, getting permits right up to tiling. Jed was also open to me doing a lot of the labour to keep costs down, much appreciated. I would absolutely recommend Jed to anyone and will be using his services again in the future when we build a garage.

My partner and I had to have some renos done in our basement: a new doorway added, and two old ones walled over. Furthermore, we needed to have it done in the brief window between Christmas and New Year’s when the basement was unoccupied. Jed was the man for the job! He gathered the materials and did all the work, even coming in on New Year’s Day for the finishing touches. Through it all he was communicative, pleasant, and respectful, and when all was said and done he charged a very reasonable rate. We definitely recommend hiring Jed!

Jed installed an exterior door and built a deck for our hot tub. I was very impressed with the solid concrete foundation he poured in our sloped yard. The job has added tremendously to our enjoyment of our home.
