West Coast Barrier

We had an excellent experience hiring West Coast Barrier to replace siding on our house. Tyler provided high quality service from start to finish - from quickly responding to our initial request for an estimate and answering all our questions, to efficiently and reliably getting the job done - all with obvious care that it was done right. West Coast Barrier also impressed me with their use of technology to communicate - with a comprehensive web site, an online quote request option, correspondence by email, and electronic invoicing and payment – all of which, in my view, conveys a sense of confidence in the business, and makes it easier to work with them.

We updated the exterior of our house in the spring/summer and used West Coast for stucco removal and Hardie board install. Tyler was very easy to communicate with and addressed any issues as we went through the reno. The two main installers (Jason and Patrick) were also approachable and friendly and were here everyday and did not rush through the job. While overall the job took a little longer (and messier) than anticipated, they were extremely flexible - working around our window installers and other trades. Tyler was also upfront about the possible impact of his own move during the planned reno period and ensured he was able to be present weekly to check on the progress. Our previous 90s chic stucco castle looks like a new build! Thanks guys!

West Coast Barrier came to our rescue. They were prompt, professional, and very knowledgeable Our Allura siding was rattling loudly in the wind. Upon inspection they informed us that there were 8 feet spans with no nails, and no joint flashings. They did an amazing job fixing the problems and also making sure the end result appeared seamless. We are so pleased with their work and would highly recommend them.

Just finished the work on my siding. I know enough about the work they were doing to know that they didn't cut corners. The finished product looks great. The communication from the owner and crew was consistently polite & friendly. Thrilled with the results, they were not the cheapest, also not the most expensive, I felt like I paid a very reasonable price for top tier work. 100% would recommend this company to friends and family.

We used Tyler and his team at West Coast Barrier to do a siding repair. We were scared to find out what was behind the old, rotten siding, as we suspected that we'd find bad news. We did! Luckily for us though, Tyler and his team were able to spend the additional time to re-frame and re-sheathe where necessary without fuss and bother, and without holding a gun to our heads on pricing an emergency repair. Tyler came and gave me an estimate for replacing some of the cedar siding on my house. He took the time to make sure that he gave me a very detailed estimate. I was impressed with him and wanted to hire him but unfortunately couldn't due to a timing conflict.
