Water Babies

My daughter loves the water. The classes are great, warm water, skilled and friendly instructors, teaching our baby such an important life skill and so much fun too!!

We have loved our classes and instructor. My daughter and I learned a lot of core skills that we can use going forward.Thank you!

Great Program for little ones! Their instructors were fantastic and the focus is on making babies/ toddlers safe and comfortable in the water. Would highly recommend.

While the lessons and teachers were great, I am truly disappointed with their customer service and billing practices.Similar to another person’s review on here, they have a billing cycle that requires significant cancellation in advance, otherwise they will automatically bill you.And I was well aware of this which is why when I received a courtesy call this past winter that they were shifting their term towards a monthly cycle, I signed on for lessons just for one month. I specified in my call that I just wanted to be signed up for March and did not want to be renewed.Yet at the month’s end I receive notice that I had more classes to attend. In fact two more months! Definitely not what I signed up for. Knowing their billing cycle, I had planned in advance for exactly how much I could commit to. They forced me to overcommit.When I asked to come to a compromise by postponing our classes, they would not allow for this. If so, I likely would’ve continued on for at least two or three more months.Then when they agreed to cancel my lessons, I received another email telling me I still had another two months to go. How is this a shift towards a monthly term? This was completely different from what I was told on the phone.They also seem to prefer to do everything via telephone and avoid emails and there was countless back and forth phone calls, when a couple of emails could’ve sufficed.Immensely disappointed with their service. Great teachers who are enthusiastic and good with the babies, but as someone else said in these reviews, billing practices that border on predatory.

Awesome way for babies to get comfortable in the water and learn to swim eventually. Instructors are friendly and fantastic.

Had a great experience with Water Babies at Fern Ave PS with our toddler. I would definitely recommend their lessons to people looking to get their children comfortable in the water.

Water Babies have been great for my daughter whom swim with them for over a year. Ms. Carol is great to work with. i highly recommend them for any parents.

We love water babies! The lessons are fun and engaging. My 6 month old loves to swim under the water and the confidence water babies has given us is amazing. We can’t wait to go back!

Posting here because though we were impressed with the Water Babies teaching style, their business practices are bordering on unethical, and from a customer service perspective, they were excruciating to deal with and disrespectful of our time.After 8 lessons, hoping my daughter would warm up to the water babies style of swimming lessons, I had to remove her from the pool due to hyperventilation. At this time, we notified them we wouldn't be attending any more classes.As I know they have waiting lists for their lessons, I came to them with three suggestions:A) get a refund for the 5 remaining classes paid in full (their billing cycles are predatory, requiring you to cancel 5 weeks in advance to not end up overpaying, no matter the reason).B) receive a credit to use at a later time, even if it's a year from nowC) transfer our 5 lessons to another family in the neighbourhood that we know would have taken our spot.Water Babies responded by having their Aquatics Instructor call us and lecture us on exposure" and question our decision to remove our child from the lesson when we did (Why did it take 3 months of lessons and our cancelation for them to offer this form of "support?")I then waited 17 days to hear from Water Babies again
