You won't find another store with owners and staff who live and breathe the sports they support like Coast Outdoors. I purchased my brand new Think Uno Max surfski (and a paddle, drysuit and other bits of paddle gear) from them this year and it was nothing short of the best retail experience I have had. Good advice, fair pricing, incredible service, and a level of post purchase support that is above and beyond what I have ever experienced. Even if you aren't in their immediate area, it's worth the trip to go see them.

I HIGHLY recommend this store, staff was so helpful. I went in for some surfing accessories. Probably the best shopping experience I have had in the longest time.First I called and someone actually picked up and talked to me and answered my questions. The store was even better! They made sure I left with exactly what I needed and encouraged me to reach out or come back if I needed it. Such a positive experience, so happy!

I called today and spoke to a very helpful staff member about Nordic Skate boots. It's nice to get friendly advice when purchasing from afar, especially recognizing the difficulty of selling specialized footwear without trying things on first! I ordered two pairs of skis boots online. Both the same size. Within an hour, the store had contacted me to ensure that it was not a mistake and that I wanted two pairs. Once they heard back from me, the boots were shipped right away. They were just as advertised and packaged well. Great service online!

I just can't get over what an absolutely wonderful experience I had with this outfit. From start to finish it was as good as you could ask for. I dealt with several different individuals but mainly with Adam, and everyone was super helpful and very professional. All my questions were answered in precise detail and in a timely manner via email, often within a few hours and sometimes faster, and I ask a lot of questions. For more detailed issues, like arranging cross country shipping on a rigid paddleboard, they took care of everything and got back to me the next day with the details, and apologized for taking so long, which was not at all necessary. To sum up, you can buy with complete confidence from Coast Outdoors, whether you live in the Vancouver area or on the other side of the country, I very highly recommend them!

Very kind and helpful staff in answering all my inquiry regarding purchase of a new eddyline Skylark. Thank you in particular to Emelia who not only sold me this beautiful kayak but was even kind enough to help me along with another sales person properly load kayak atop my car. It has now been over two months with my kayak and we are about to purchase another eddyline for my sister!
