I have been attending the daytime Tai Chi classes for over eighteen months now, although they do evening classes too. The teachers are very good at bringing out the best in you and have years of martial arts experience. So whether you want to enjoy the meditative side brought about by the mindfulness aspect of Tai Chi, or the slow movements to aid your balance and mobility; or feel that you are too old for kung fu now but need to keep moving, please come along.

Great place to train and build good friends. I train as well as my kids. The training instructors are excellent at ensuring children learn to defend themselves well, and taught with careful consideration for their safety, wellbeing and confidence.I have seen many timid and quite children grow in confidence and maturity while there. Excellent place to be in for developing body and mind; and a great break away from all the electronic gadgets.

This is such a great club. It's not just a dojo, it's a community, and Mike and Caz have made an atmosphere of friendliness and fun. Everyone takes their martial arts seriously but the focus is on improving ourselves instead of picking fights, which is what I was looking for when thinking about taking something like this up.Mikey has so much knowledge about martial arts but also mental well-being and the way the human body works. All the years I've been going and I haven't run out of stuff to learn yet.This might sound a bit over the top but going to the dojo has genuinely changed my life.

Shi kon martial arts is a club for all, they are professional and take care of their students in all classes, they have a wide range from classes for tots right through to adults, so they cater for all.They are health and safety certified, child protection certified which is great news for parents and they are also certified and have skills to work with children and adults with special needs, so no one needs to miss out on learning good quality martial arts. They have ladies only kickboxing classes so they are very diverse, they teach yang family tai chi handed down from the original yang family themselves and also teach a good quality Chinese syllabus of kung Fu create by international 9th Dan Steve Rowe, they teach great self defence skill which help in all areas of life and the main instructor 4th Dan Mikey Reynolds is also a fully qualified fitness instructor, anyone at any fitness level can join and will receive the appropriate care to progress well. Lastly they are both Bccma accredited and Medway council accredited.They have also won numerous awards over the years for best run club, Mikey Reynolds also won a award last year for Medway coach of the year. Everyone is super friendly and all classes are very enjoyable.,

Shi Kon Martial Arts has been great in the 14 months my girls attended. Mikey is a brilliant instructor who can engage the class full of kids effortlessly. Classes teach discipline, self awareness and confidence amongst many other skills. Despite being identical twins, girls are being treated as individuals and have their own goals to work towards. Being part of the Shi Kon family has really helped my girls to deal with bullying and issues at school. Caz and Mikey are always approachable and happy to help. Girls made great friends and really enjoy their martial arts journey. Classes are fun and engaging for all abilities.

Brilliant Tai Chi classes in a wonderful friendly atmosphere.No pressure, repeat what you need to, and think of every session as a way to improve at your own pace.Rosie and I have been attending for a couple of months now and look forward to each week both for the instruction, the instructors, and the people we have met.

I think it is testament to what kind of place this is that I started attending ladies kickboxing classes 18 months ago and still look forward to going, despite being a serial structured exercise avoider. The dojo has a warm and welcoming atmosphere and is far from the intimidating environment I worried it would be. My children started kung fu lessons over a year ago now and have increased in confidence and gained many new skills in this time. They love kung fu and can't wait to go each week. Seeing their pride and happiness as they move up the grades has been really lovely to see. I can't praise Caz and Mikey enough for the support they have provided since we have been members of the dojo and hope we will be attending gor a long time to come.

I have been attending Tai Chi Classes for 1.5yrs and recently started Kung Fu. Shi Kon Martial Arts International is a fantastic place the Instructors, Assistants and Team Leaders are fabulous everyone is really friendly and I actually look forward to going each week this is because of the wonderful people
