Affogato Café + Gelato
This place is a trendy, artisan cafe with a lot of options. We shared the Bird's Nest. Chocolate with a mango centre along with a coconut filling. It was fun to take photos of, even more fun to eat. We also got a vanilla hot chocolate and a latte.Had a chance to meet the owner. This young man is an artist. He makes so many of the food items himself and he creates artisan Gelato. You can try the flavours before you buy. Ended up buying Nirvana to take home (note ask for a freezer bag). We had it later that night, it was Salted Caramel with some Peanut butter and rice krispies. It was amazing.The decor gice an upscale yet chill vibe. The staff is friendly and welcoming.We will be back in Huntsville in the summer and a stop back here is a must.

The gelatos were delicious. I'm not sure if I'm a fan of the affogato, it would be nice if the espresso was mixed in with the gelato as opposed to poured on the gelato.

Their espresso is the best in town! I adore their Affogatto made with Hazelnut Gelato. The only reason I scored lower for the atmosphere is because it doesn't have a large sit-down area. But they only have so much room to work with, and I understand that. Still doesn't deter me from their amazing espresso!

Great espresso, excellent gelato! And the best thing here is the view. Absolutely incredible view outside where you can sit at the benches or at the park or at the water. I'd highly recommend grabbing a coffee or gelato with their homemade waffle cones and taking in the view!

We have been a couple of times now. Service was very slow today despite 3 staff working. Lots of people waiting on things and it took 10 minutes to take our order. The coffee is okay, but not mind blowing. I nearly dropped my jaw at the prices though. $5.80 for a muffin feels like price gouging. As others have said there are no prices listed for many menu items. This would be fairly easy to implement and not leave customers feeling cheated

I like to know nutritional value of my food, but not in the form of plastic within my food. Ordered a muffin and coffee. Muffin was very sweet and high in sugar. Had to throw most of it away after tasting the plastic.I wanted to visit a cafe during my stay at Huntsville. And like most restaurants around, this place was not spectacular. Situated at a scenic location, I had high hopes from it.I could have asked for a refund

Affogato Café + Gelato
What a great café! We tasted a variety of gelatos before settling on three flavours in homemade waffle cones (better than any others I’ve had—nice and thin—and available in vanilla or chocolate). We added a raspberry entrement and a few other Canadian treats with a twist (maple butter tart, mint Nanaimo bar) and two lattes made with oat milk (they offered a variety of milk and dairy alternatives). We sat at their tables and enjoyed our things while enjoying the space. The board is a thing of beauty!

Would be a 5 star if it was not sooooo overpriced! Ice cream really creamy and tasty and espresso very smooth as well...but the prices...crazy!

Great little cafe by the water.Excellent ambience, great view, and excellent service.They have home made gelato, didn’t get a chance to try it though.Came for a shot of espresso, loved it.
