Friendly people, awesome building that spruces up the downtown core and a very innovative program.

I went to Doors open, it was interesting. Some classroom on the desk had button. This is a microphone. When you have a question for teacher, can use this microphone. Then, everyone can listen to question and answer too. Nice idea!

Great space to study with friends!

- Highest tuition fee among all Canadian pharmacy schools per MUN.- Newest pharmacy school in Canada. Might not be approved by Pharmacy Regulatory Bodies in as many countries as other more established Canadian Pharmacy schools.- No real library at the School. No librarian on site at a small (former storage?) room they now called a library. The Pharmacy School building is the only UW building on campus. No gym and no cafeteria. Most services are on the main campus which is far from Pharmacy School. You still have to pay the fees for services only available on the main campus.- Located in Kitchener. Walk/ask around to see if this city is right for you.- There is no medical school, no nursing school, and no dentistry school at UW. You will possibly have less interaction with other healthcare students.- The co-ops are like a roulette in my opinion, highly YMMV.+ You have easy access to interviewing/befriending homeless people and drug users. There are many of them around the school. New proposed legal IV drug injection site is near the school. Working with marginalized population will help you become a better pharmacist.+ You have the thrill of walking around Kitchener. Someone was shot with an arrow to death near the School.Bonus for living in Kitchener:+ Tap water in Kitchener tastes unusual; you will probably have to buy bottled water on a regular basis. Try collecting Kitchener tap water in a glass. It is likely more cloudy than usual. Wait for it and see how much sediment falls to the bottom of the container.+ Elmira was a testing site for Agent Orange. Does this contribute to the unique taste and cloudiness of Kitchener tap water?+ Free live action! I saw 3 car crashes near the school right before my eyes during my 4 years here. What will it be like once the ion train is fully operational if ever?Do you research! Four years is a long time! If you get accepted to more than 1 school, think hard! If you get accepted to only UW Pharmacy school, also think hard! At least one student ended his life during his time at UW Pharmacy School. IMO, the school cares more about monetization than the student well-being and future.

Husband received his 1st vaccine . The people staffing were very professional and friendly. Not knowing Kitchener well we did get lost for a few minutes . It might be better ,for the sake of out of towers to have better signage for the clinic
