CIBC Branch with ATM

This is without a doubt the worst branch in Calgary. Always understaffed, they don't care about their members and the whole place gives you a very unwanted feeling. I give 1 star cause zero star is not an option.

I've had nothing but positive experiences with this branch or any other CIBC branch...professional, nice and helpful CSR's...Of course if you don't follow rules or guidelines put in place to protect yourself and the bank that's your fault not the bank.

Ran in quickly tonight to use the ATM, two rough looking people inside on the floor smoking crack. Really unhappy I had to use the bank so badly. Also, why isn’t there security? Or a card activated door. This seems like a common issue at this location. I didn’t feel safe and I didn’t want to expose my lungs to that. ):

Very disappointed, I love banking with CIBC. They been my only bank since I was 14 years old, I'm always happy with any brunch I go to services. However this location really sucks, first of all the services are very slow and secondly they never answer the phone. Like why say we open at 9am and not answer the phone when someone call at 9:15am. I'm super upset, need improvement. Side note, this is the only CIBC that always disappointed me.

Can't even use the ATM in the evening because people are camping inside the entrance. Last thing I want is to take out cash and get mugged. P This branch needs to implement a debit card swipe after business hours like back in the 90s 2000s. Going to East Hills CIBC from now on.

Nice department. Thanks a lot to Mrs Aritonang who helped me to open an account and clearly explained everything. Very good service.Dont deal with Mrs Amandeep Kaur! We ordered a credit card from Mrs Kaur, which never arrived. And Mrs Kaur started to ignore our messages and finaly told that we never came to apply for a credit card.

To go along with what Kimberly Romero said.. I witnessed an incident where an old man with a cane needed to rest against the arm of a chair while his son held his spot in line.. Security told him to move along in line and was very rude. He was just trying to rest.. I don't remember the exact details of what was said but it was absurd and the man was clearly within his rights and just being harassed. I agree this location has very poor service and slooooow. I don't care what neighborhood this is in we expect better. And for security to be interfering in the line up that is completely uncalled for. Unless there is a security risk the manager can handle those things..

Have a very good experience in this branch, I think what happened to the bad experiences are dependent on the specific employees. Very appreciate Maria helped me for everything that I need.

This bank is terrible. Dont even waste your time just go to another branch. One in sunridge and thers one in inglewood that has a machine you can no envelope cash deposit ( as does the sunridge one).most of the tellers are rude, even the manager is rude and judgmental to me...still dont know why ( look me up and down and snarl) srsly !! Its friday and there is one teller and a line up out the door practically . They should demolish this one and give the people who come here better services. They have little mockup library's at cibc branches in the rich" suburb neightbourhoods. My goodness cibc time to put your money where your bank is."

Always a 30 minute wait here.
