I love this place way to much...if you are looking for a real nature experience then this is the place for you. Long hiking trails that go deep into the woods, you feel very secluded. Lots of benches where you can sit and take a break. Gorgeous trails. Highly reccomend.

This is a very nice trail! There are a few trails that connect here when you get from the main parking lot to the trails at the back. The area is beautiful. Really amazing.Trails are well marked and you can spend several hours hiking. This includes a few challenging hills. There are no washrooms, the parking lot at the front can take about 5 or 6 cars...I don't think there is a need for more. There is another parking area which connects to ajoining trail aswell.

Very well marked trails, the trails can be a bit tight at times. The parking lot fills up quickly so people park on the side of the road. Nice elevation changes and well groomed trails. Will come back in the spring/summer when there are leaves in the trees.

They should call this one the “sad valley forest”. Don’t even waste your time on this one. The trail through happy valley forest is adjacent to two private properties on each side, made apparent by wooden and wire fences. The trail seems like it hasn’t been maintained in years. From one end to another, it’s about a 7 minute walk? Absolutely nothing to see here. Even if you’re in the area, run away from this one. The Cawthra Mulock Conservation area is about a 12 minute drive. This will make you much happier than the “happy valley forest”.

I have been coming here so often to hike recently. The scenery is just so beautiful. I love coming here with my wife and kids and get some good exercise in while spending some quality time with family. It is such a peaceful and relaxing place!

I did a hike 10k loop following the well marked trail. Lots of up that will get your heart up and down. Lots of board walks over streams. Very quiet small forest with not many people. Trillium flowers starting to bloom.

Beautiful trail loops. One trail leads to Happy Valley Forest main trail. Some ups and downs but great excercises. All kinds of trees from deducious to conifers. I like here because there are no bikers or horse riders on this trail. Saw green garden snakes on 2 different occasions. Many chipmunks around Quiet and peaceful. Will be coming back for more.

Great trail and perfectly marked. The trail has multiple hills and makes it a great workout. Watch out for icy patches
