Goldstream Boathouse Marina

This is an off the beaten track for sights to see near Victoria, BC, Canada. It is an iconic shady nook surrounded by steep forested slopes. It is at the mouth of the Goldstream River. Fresh air blows through here like you could feel the land breathing. Meanwhile, this experience is not about the land; it is about the sea. And how mariners of all sorts call this place their home berth. The management and residents are friendly. There are also flush toilets, male and female at the top of the dock. The locals tell stories of pods of killer whales swimming up the inlet to feast on seals who sun themselves on the docks. For an authentic, honest, coastal Vancouver Island experience easily accessible from the city, this place is a hidden gem. Also there is ice cream available and eagles soaring through the blue skies surrounded by dark green forested mountains. You will be glad you went there.

Always a pleasure to deal with Goldstream Bathhouse Marina. Run by extremely knowledgeable people, it's a friendly and welcoming marina fully equipped to keep your pride and joy afloat in top condition. Nice improvements are underway to some overflow parking areas. And the sunshine when its raining elsewhere is magic.

They don’t allow to launch your jetskis here. And it doesn’t say anything about that on the website. Even when asking the owner he said it should be on the website. But I looked again and it wasn’t there.This completely derailed our entire day had to head up to a congested mill bay boat launch and my wife had to cancel plans to meet family in Victoria during the day to due the return travel time

One of the only places to launch from in the inlet. It's a great place to paddle. Amazing scenery.

It was a quick stop to see the water's edge. The marina was quite deserted except for the seals on the docks. They looked at us briefly, but soon ignored us. Sleeping was more important!

Love this marina. The main caretaker is super nice and gives awesome tips and tricks on fishing/crabbing/prawning. I highly recommend!

Amazing Marina, the owner and management are very friendly! We really feel safe and know our boat is secure. The docks are well maintained and the area is beautiful.
