Could take better care of rental trucks

What a NIGHTMARE dealing with this guy for a U-Haul rental! We would give 0 or less if possible. This @#$#@ should have his U-Haul affiliation revoked.We made a reservation for a 26ft truck, supplied credit card information, received the confirmation and then Sundaymorning (less than 24 hrs before pick up on Monday morning) he calls us to say our truck is NOT AVAILABLE ANYWHERE.Our moving crew is set up to come Monday morning, we need to be out of the house by Tuesday morning and now no truck??!!!We asked him why not and he got angry with us on phone and told us he was canceling our reservation and if we had a problem with that then we had to call head office and he hung up on us!!!A call to U-haul head office got us connected to the southwestern Ontario field manager who got us a truck 1 hour away for our reserved time and day. We also found out that this piece of work in Hanover was overcharging us over $1200 for the same reservation. He quoted us $1600 and U-Haul head office gave us the price of $378!!We have lodged a formal complaint with the corporation and will NOT rest until we are satisfied with the outcome. Our desire is that this location will be closed as a U-Haul depot.FOREWARNED IS FORETOLD....THE GUY AT THIS LOCATION IS NOT ABOVE BOARDZERO STARSZERO RECOMMENDATION

This guy is a liar. We booked a uhaul 26ft. 12 hrs before pick up he called us to tell us he didnt have it, but he had a 20ft, after he took our money I might add. Well 20 ft will not do. I booked this well in advance. He got angry and told us to go and locate one. He also sells used cars, I wouldn't trust this guy as far as I could throw him, for anything. I wish i could rate him zero. Remember folks foretold is forewarned. This is not a nice guy.
